The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

And you’re talking about the IR, I was thinking about the gyroscope.

Atleast something of substance produced seems to be the requirement, see SRAAM.

Yep, closest example I can think of in game too

Windows built in “designer” editor Screenshot 2025-04-11 163721, play around with these settings:

See what makes things clearer and what makes them worse.

The seeker isnt fixed

afaik if a weapon existed and was atleast test fired sucessfully, then it can be added, but i might be wrong, for example sraam had like 8 test fires before it was cancelled

Yep, so its proving the KH-38 with IIR seeker had even a single test firing. If that cannot be done, the weapon should be removed

Why would you answer with talking about the gyro when i started by saying the seeker/IR?
My point was that you mistakenly pointed out the IR to be the wrong thing in the image you provided and drew on at the start of the discussion. Which caused a lot of confusion.
You were however correct about the gyro part and did point to the correct thing for that.

Probably just crossed wires, there was a few conversions at the same time.

@BBCRF do you have information on its guidance method and or attack planning?

I posted these 2 pics before, but the part he’s trting to pass off as the rotating portion of the gyro very much isnt.

Looks almost the same as the thing dead center of this production Kh-38ML seeker.

What would be needed to satisfy this requirement?

that… isnt even close

No, its a mockup, just like the only Kh-38MT’s ever photographed.

I think you might have missed some images, the thing he points to being the gyro actually is the gyro.

You can see the seeker lens at the bottom.

a picture/video or a document stating that such test fire happened (and prob that it was successful)

I dont know if this is a bug reportable situation?

Id guess either a video from a trusted source showing it fired and guided in that manner or better yet documentation from a primary source stating that its been tested. Being so new, those might not be available so maybe even a number of reliable secondary sources maybe?

Even a photo of one with a IIR seeker mounted to the actual airframe would be a start

But I honestly dont know, Gaijin might be more flexible with it being so new and thus maybe classified?

So if you guys wanted it removed you’d need an official non/un-classified document saying the MT was cancelled
