Certainly levels the playing field.
If KH-38MTs remain. Then AGM-84 SLAM and Brimstone 2s become a hard requirement sooner rather than later to give everyone else something even close to equal in performance
I would take 6 KH-38MTs over 6 Hammers or well any top tier AGM honestly
And the rest of the package you are going to ignore ?
The rafale will delete planes with it’s Micas which are giga strong in the close engagements in ground RB.
It’s actually quite the big limitation since most salh slingers gets to defend themself while still guiding whatever salh munitions they have.
I honestly don’t care if they remove the 38MT, as long as it comes with a massive buff in flight performance for the planes.
Should have been added with the F-18 anyways, but then again I would definitely not want to get more toxic cas up in the air
then take KH-29s or KAB-500KRs I have no sympathy for the KH-38MT the ML is still far stronger then things like brimstone 1 so i really dont see the issue after all the tornado Gr4 has the same issues the Su34 and Su25SM3 have no real way to defend itself

It’s defenitely not. If you are launching brimstones in level flight from far out, you are doing it wrong.
they wont unless there is proof they are lacking performance
its far risker using brimstone 1s then MLs the only benefit the brimstones have is their insane off the rail performance
Given the fact both have IOG, they can both do the same tactic. But Brimstone needs to be fired from 15km away at the moment, KH-38 could be slinged off at 50-60km on IOG before using the same tactic. The larger warhead and 0 drift IOG also affords them a slight FnF ability the Brimstones entirely lack

Again, if you all launching brimstones from 15km out, you are doing it wrong.
You spot your target, dive down and then come in low fast, fire and turn away and you are basicaly unhittable during that time.
With the ML you fly in like a drone and guide them in.
Sure, people are still gonna moan about it (Kh-29, this I can guarantee) anyways.
But any nerf for cas is a win in my book

They are less manouvarable and the plane itself is dogwater, doesn’t work half as good as a typhoon, with which you can also miss a few because it carries 18 of them.
if I can do it in a tornado with a worse performance and a 12-15km max range you can it in an Su30 at 20-30km
Dont know why people keep bringing the kh29 when they all have pretty much the same seeker as the agm 65B
