Given the fact both have IOG, they can both do the same tactic. But Brimstone needs to be fired from 15km away at the moment, KH-38 could be slinged off at 50-60km on IOG before using the same tactic. The larger warhead and 0 drift IOG also affords them a slight FnF ability the Brimstones entirely lack

Again, if you all launching brimstones from 15km out, you are doing it wrong.
You spot your target, dive down and then come in low fast, fire and turn away and you are basicaly unhittable during that time.
With the ML you fly in like a drone and guide them in.
Sure, people are still gonna moan about it (Kh-29, this I can guarantee) anyways.
But any nerf for cas is a win in my book

They are less manouvarable and the plane itself is dogwater, doesn’t work half as good as a typhoon, with which you can also miss a few because it carries 18 of them.
if I can do it in a tornado with a worse performance and a 12-15km max range you can it in an Su30 at 20-30km

Also, thrust vectoring is not useless, Su30 are very lethal in a dogfight when they have R73. Su30 can keep its nose pointed at the enemy aircraft for as long as it wants with the thrust vectoring (as long as it has enough altitude ofc.) so the enemy plane needs to dump flares the entire time or it will die.
I feel like it could make sense to target static positions using IIR to correct for IOG drift in areas with heavy GPS jamming where you cant get close enough/an angle to laser designate but doesnt really make sense in its implementation in game
what is the other fox 3 good for close engagements? Oh right the r77 and now r77-1 is even better

because it has much better kinematics and a bigger warhead than mavs
and assuming the Rafale is running 2x Magic II and 6x AASM, they will only have 4x MICA
Su-30SM can have 2x R-73, 6x R-77-1 and 6x KH-38MT So they also have the heavier AAM fit as well
You complain about how the Kh-38mt cant be removed because its what makes the Ru TT good (imo even more reason to remove it, a fake weapon shouldnt be the main frae of a TT.) Then complain about the F-16AJ, q mediocre plane in about the least appealing TT in game
