The issue of "PVE" matches

Naval RB is plagued with bots already

I tend to run 4 2000s on my F-14 with missiles to do both base bombing and plane clapping

and if Britain had a single decent option for that, then I’d probably do the same.

We don’t unfortuantely. We have a few kinda options like that, but they all suck or are boring as hell currently. So its CAS in the Tornado Gr1 , Jag or Harrier or Cap in the Tornado F3

Maybe with the Typhoon if that ever gets added

I wish Italy got their Block 10 F-16 granted sure it was a two seater but why not add a bit of unique to the Italians, they are missing their whole Trainer line which would be great medium speed CAS.
I play most nations you can check my statcard if you please and please do not tell a psychiatrist .

I used to fly the Su-25 in anti shipping sorties that was fun, but anyway

Yeah, as the Typhoon is years off, there is a big push for the Hawk for Britain to fill the same kind of role.

Harrier Gr7 can be really good fun, and is probably britains best fighter at the moment. But things about it just annoy me currently. No CCRP for Paveways, Aim-9Ls completely busted. etc. Just easier to loft bombs at bases in a Gr1.

I just could never be bothered with the grind, especially with crew ranks to do multiple nations. Though have picked at Sweden a little with a friend, but barely rank 2

and is probably britains best fighter at the moment

How’s that?

Becauae its the only thing we have top tier that can turn. And its at a BR where it doesnt always face mig29s

Yup, and if the one or two other humans would stop trying to kill me we could all make bank.

Hehe

It’s not about the SL though, it’s about the fact that my leveling against real players is a waste because these guys do a passive game and get what they want to get that I’ve got without any real effort.

@OrsonES Can we also get this sorted out. This should never have been allowed to keep happening ever since the Heli EC ‘kill farming’ nonsense.

They’ve shown they can basically ban 200 accounts a month through their current method. I guess it depends what 200 accounts you want them to focus on if that number doesn’t change.

That’s about 1% of the monthly ban rate of the industry standard already. So basically taking that throughput and applying it entirely to sim would be at the cost of other kinds of ToS offences (like botting, or refusal to remove hateful decals).

I’d be amazed if gaijin didn’t outsource bug reports, player reporting I can believe but a bug report I’m skeptical of.

The change to the reporting feature is actually a good one to be honest… Now in the game, players can report it…

It’s just more load on the moderators to sift through and get rid of the ‘inability’/connection/server issue/known issue/your machine/why did you even?/normal junk.

I agree in terms of player reporting, but in terms of bug reporting it absolutely should not be outsourced and should be done in house. Even if it’s just the player’s fault of the issue, because we currently have a major issue in sim with the missiles and the last three tickets I saw for said issue were locked and taken down. I have been religiously tracking the bug since it’s killing my fun when my missiles just go “nah” and det mid air on an AGM strike.

Yea, I have been seeing that ‘closed’ It was especially prevalent when the squadron sorting wasn’t working right…

That update got that fast that it wouldn’t sit… Before it, it was like a minute or something, but SOMEONE made a timer go harder or something because damn it was a rabbit.

It’s good now that it sorts.

I’ve even seen an English report, being linked to a non-english report, being closed, and upon translation, the issue wasn’t related.

They support each other by destroying the airfields, so sometimes you join a match and you can’t even take off.

99% of the time people ask for PVE, what they want is exploiting a glitch for having more rewards than what you should get playing normally, they don’t want proper PVE.

I guess the next event will not have SB multiplier, gaijin will not punish them, they will punish SB PvP players instead. That’s why we care.

And as you say, it’s gaijin’s fault, but if the police doesn’t make his work, it doesn’t mean we have to cooperate with thieves, the same thing here with people exploiting glitches.

That’s another problem of the game, people with bombers can just take-off, trim the plane, and get kills, with no skill at all, and with a fighter you must make a perfect dive to the bomber, if not, you die.

I’d disagree. It being at 11.0 in SB, means that it can more often find itself in EC8 and so facing Mig-21s and Mig-23s and not Mig-29s. Though even uptiers. It can turn fight fairly well, and whilst sub-sonic and the lack of radar can make it hard. I have won close in fights before. Though the 9Ls nerfs have serverly impacted the Gr7s performance and almost reduced it to a gun fighter these days, which is a real shame. I was enjoying the Gr7 when it had historically accurate 9Ls and was able to get kills with them. But with the nerfs, I rarely bother taking all 4 and stick to CAS more often than not.

This is my fault for not reading the tag to the thread.
