Tbf it’s been talked about quite a bit on other threads, after the Darter got buffed it is the best missile for the Gripens playstyle. I’d love to have it because it simply pulls better than the 120 in the average engagement range for how the Gripen plays.the 120 simply doesn’t fit the Gripens Playstyle.
The only people saying the ZA Gripen is bad are noobs and people who only played it prior to the buff to darter.

I personally do not like this, since IRIS-T and Meteor on a plane would completely break the already frail balance of top tier. The IRIS-T SLM is already hard to evade, now imagine trying to evade an IRIS-T and a Mach 4 ARH missile at the same time. Adding AARGM-ERs would also be unfair, since they also have MMW radar guidance plus GPS, a feature that no other ARM has currently and would lead to even more powercreep.
5th Gen is mostly having to force WVR.
Weapons upgrades will change how that relationship is, cause as we re-enter WVR IR missiles play a large role.
Either way, Gripen E remains one of the stronger 14.3s, not as strong as F-15C GE obviously, but still strong.
F-18E/F, Su-30SM/MKM, J-10C, F-16C PoBIT [duh] are weaker vehicles to Gripen E.
And Typhoons trade good 14.3 radars for being faster.

First things first. If/when Meteor and IRIS-T and co are added, they will come to all nations at once. It would not be added to the Gripen E in a vacuum.
Secondly, I think the first and foremost buff for the Gripen E needs to the fixing of BOL
Finally, I do personally think the better solution for the Gripen E will be to add another Gripen E that can get IRIS-T and/or Meteor when they come, that way the Current Gripen E can remain at 14.3 and it avoids making too much of a gap.
I hate to tell you but BOL will do nothing for the overweight dorito called the Gripen E, that thing is just trash, but I also don’t enjoy top tier anyways.
Flight performance simply is too bad for the Gripen to benefit from BOL, and the main reason you even ask for it is because you want your aircraft buffed.
IMO BOL can be left as it is because it’s not going to get changed

Gripen is being artificially held back by things completely unrelated to these. For 1, swedens planned (and now few delivered) Gripen E’s aren’t equipped to operate DERBY missiles. For 2, Sweden doesn’t operate ARM’s. For 3, Meteor is WAY far away from being added, we don’t need hypersonic, let alone missiles with a No-Escape zone as large as the Meteor, it’s not fun for gameplay in the slightest. For 4, IRIS-T is so much better than the R-73 they can’t be compared, it’s a dual gate IRCCM system, combining seeker shutoff (when necessary) and seeker shuttering to a lower visual angle. Basically more capable than the 9X (Block 1) and R-73 combined.
Tbf Sweden didn’t bother with ARM. they had more stakes in Taurus so there was no reason to focus on ARM. perhaps if we get Taurus we could see some decent long range strike, that or if a F model of Gungnir is finished
There is also a report for the F16AM to get ARM so we may not have to much of a wait for another ARM vehicle
BOL simply wouldn’t be a big enough change to warrant getting it fixed over any of the numerous inaccurate changes done to the Gripen.
I don’t like the Gripen and even I think it’s silly they’ve done so many nerfed based on a model we don’t have in game and have decided to ignore buffing it in any regard.
