The gradual powercreeping of Eastern Airforce Top Tiers

Now, I know what I am about to say will ruffle a lot of feathers, but it needs to be said. Ever since the days of the R-27ER meta, Eastern top tier aircraft have been nerfed to quite a large extent, this is mainly found in the Mig-29, Su-27, and J-11 families. Ingame they are underperforming in both flight models and radars, and there has been many bug reports addressing this and they’ve all been ignored. This is not accurate to real life. Their lock-on ranges are too short, you are the only jets with 10km HMD range compared to Western HMD ranges of 19km. Also, the jets mentioned which are known for dogfight performance, are awful in that regard. (Which is mainly a too much drag issue ) So that means, at top tier you will always be outclassed by Western jets. There is very little incentive to play an Eastern Top tier jet anymore. You will be outperformed in nearly every regard, and there isn’t even a weapon advantage anymore like in the R-27ER days. There is no justification for these artificial nerfs, they need to be undone. I would like to note, this comes from someone who plays both Eastern and Western top tier jets, I just want every nation at top tier to be competitive.

Just a reminder… Western aircraft are just as nerfed. Like for example. 19km HMD range I assume comes from the ACM range also being 19km. But on many aircraft IRL it was much higher (Sea Harrier FA2 Bug report for 37km ACM)

So if we are undoing these “artificial nerfs” for soviet aircraft. Then they should also be undone for Western aircraft as well and there are many more. From AAM performance, to even countermeasure performance (BOL Should be significantly more effective than it is currently, and that is 100% fake nerfs)

But something like the Su-27 also has a larger range IRL. I am not asking for the full range tho as they are limited due to balancing. I simply want the 19km range that is standard for majority of top tier jets.

No idea why it doesnt have 19km range. As that is apparently their default for aircraft, regardless of max range.

It is quite annoying to be honest, especially since it forces you to play differently from any other top tier jets you have. Like, I will go from playing the Mirage 2000 5F or F-16C and be used to 19km HMD, but then in a Mig-29SMT or Su-27SM I have to fumble around with TWS to extend my range past 10km.
