I barely play anti airs. That’s the simple answer but the amx 10p is incredibly good compared to other anti airs of similar brs again maybe you just don’t know how to aim it. And that’s fine.

A 9.3 leopard 1 vs 8.3 anti air. That 8.3 bracket is way nicer to the leopard 1.

Pangolin does the same thing except instead of stat shaming he just says you’re bad at the game because he’s allowed to do that, but NOT use statistics to “prove” his point. You’re only “agreeing” with him because he happens to be on “your side” of the discussion. This is so plainly see through.

Because the anti air is at a better br. The 1a5 has brutal uptiers where it’s outclassed by everything and the regular leopard 1 is unstabilized at a br where alot of tanks are starting to get them

If you uptier the Gepard to the 9.3 battle rating, it is a better main battle tank than the leopard 1a5 that sits at 9.3, in a direct comparison.

These have needed adjusting for a while, and while it would break some new ground, it wouldn’t require much.
- Harsh nerf on 35mm APHE’s explosive filler. Enough so that hitting a cupola or somehow Matrix’ing a round through the armor in a weird spot isn’t enough to kill off the tank’s crew.
This could be done by having an inverse of fuze sensitivity. If the round penetrates armor that’s too strong (Say 40mm effective?), the fuze is destroyed and the filler doesn’t detonate. This renders them still fairly scary against light vehicles, and on the flanks (Which they should be), but largely helpless against MBTs frontally.
- Rounds that richocet 3 times are currently set to just ignore armor, allowing them to phase into tanks. Instead, make them disappear, at least for 35mm and below. This would resolve a decent number of the Matrix’ing of rounds I mentioned earlier.
Still needs a more permanent fix for volumetric, but that’s out of scope for this.
- Fix the XM246’s nonsense damage model by making all plates and components produce spall when hit. The 246 has a ton of internal thin armor plates which block spall while not being thick enough to produce any when penetrated. This, along with the large FCS block in the middle, and the odd placement of the ammo in the far sides of the turret, mean that a lot of pentrating hits will end up achieving little to nothing.
This is a more systemic change (but hey, it might fix the exact same issue with the exact same cause for various Soviet autloading carousels eating spall without exploding), and it strictly optional.
- Replace the Leopard Marksman with the actual Itpsv 90, which was the same turret but on a T-55AM hull (Without the addon armor). Move the Leopard Marksman up to like 9.3 with the FAPDS belts or something.
