Statshark showcased that it is.
Ok, since i seem to have pissed off a few people let me explain this ranking
ItPSV: top tier mobility and amazing traverse with average survivability make for an extremely annoying combo. Thank god nobody plays sweden
XM: below average mobility with bullshit survivability (BMPT-esque vehicle)
ZA-35: hehehe I’m in ur spawn less than 30 seconds into the match
Geps: just average, no upside no downsides compared to the rest. Truly middle of the road SPAAs
PGZ: gep with no gun depression. That’s all.
Chieftan MM: just overall garbage, bad traverse and mobility without the survivability of the XM
Let’s be serious, the problem with these types of SPAAs is a combination of factors: horribly designed maps that prioritize close-quarters combat and give the advantage to the fastest player; poorly implemented vehicle damage models that result in many shots doing little or no damage; radars that often don’t work for SPAA use; and last but not least, the undeniable randomness of the shots, meaning that with continuous firing, a bullet will eventually ricochet and kill you, or if it doesn’t kill you, there’s the wonderful magic overpressure. In short, it’s a series of disasters that the developers lack the skill or the will to fix, allowing certain players to exploit this enormous flaw to get easy kills and points.
Fr
I don’t agree with this. It’s got bad survivability: most of the time you can’t one-shot it but one shot to the turret disables a lot of the components especially the vertical thing (I forgot its name, but it lets you swing your gun up and down) and then after the vertical thing gets disabled you can easily destroy it. Though, its hull armor is strong it can stop auto cannons and sometimes, if you’re lucky ricochet some rounds (that’s kinda rare tho)
The type 87 spaag just sitting in the corner with their sad PB&J for being forgotten about
Classed under Gepard because… well… it is
Large number of good players rushing to play a tank because Russia and Germany mains were whining about it does not make the tank good.
So let us compare this June 2026

Oh it shows the same!
Like really, anyone who have used XM246 knows it is just better.
Yes, people will rush to research a highly anticipated vehicle and artificially inflate its stats. We’ve seen this many times before.
You know that it happens mostly when vehicle is added to the game.
If stats of the vehicle remain the same no matter the month, it means that it is just that “good” in hands of normal player.
The vehicle was added on 18 March 2025 so the argument of people rushing to play it is invalid.
I showed You stats of the vehicle for June 2026, not overall and they state the same, XM is just better.
The stats you provided do not support any of your claims.
And how is that?

Both stats are from June 2026, so a lot time have passed since XM246 was added and they are not overall stats but the stats just for June 2026.
It shows that XM246 has better K/S and K/D meaning that it is just a better vehicle.
Source for when XM was added:
None of that serves to prove your point. You have not provided any reasonable evidence that the XM246 is stronger than the Gepards, or that XM246 players would get worse over time.
If it weren’t then it wouldn’t have better stats.
So instead of trusting more than 500k games per month of stats, You are assuming that better players are using XM246 because as You have said it is:
and people:
over a year after it was added?
Like really.
We have month to month stats and overall showcasing that people do better in XM246.
That’s a bad faith lie.

I am not trusting your flawed interpretation of stats.
Yes, the XM246 was very hyped and thus attracted a lot of higher skill players. Not to mention, years of the Gepards being in the game only increased the hype for a new overpowered SPAA.
Let me take a vehicle with more than twice number of games!
Like really. We are comparing both vehicles and difference in number of games is less than 24%.
Such flawed interpretation of stats that anyone who used XM246 well can agree on them, but I guess it requires some games played in gepard to know that.
That is why I showcased stats from a moth that is more than a year after XM was added.
No relevance to the point I made.
From what I’ve seen, it’s mostly just noobs who have never touched the XM246 that claim it’s stronger than the other Gepards.
You know, I have touched both vehicles (not like You as I can see on Your profile) and I can say that XM is far stronger ;).
You do not even know that basic game features like free random SPAA spawns exist. You don’t have any credibility as to which is stronger.
