I can attest to this. I started gaining RP in ground arcade, where in 2016 I would see about 7k RP per game at max at rank III. When switching to GRB this changed drastically to about 9-11k RP on average. Nowadays I get about 20k RP max per game in GRB when using a premium tank at rank V-VII, with no noticeable changes compared to GSB. Things have improved, but not by much, as I’ve also become a better and more knowledged player.
The RP reward per gamemode for a playerkill is just so ridiculously different. This disparity should indeed be adressed.
I’ve been wanting to run snake runs in my F-16s and Mig-29s for a while in sim, but ground is appealing again, so better play it while it’s fun for me.
That and I have all 10 tech trees completed to the amount I want them.
If you are good at staying away from the primary battlespace in a premium or talismaned aircraft capable of striking two full bases per flyout you can expect 10 to 15k on a a shorter game where you get two bases and die on a second flyout in ARB. I think the most I’ve earned in a game of ARB was around 70k RP for 20+ minute game where I bombed at least 6 bases total. I did it in my F-105D. The Mig-23BN is capable of similar feats as well. The Mig-23ML can do it as well, but with rockets and incendiaries for a single base strike each flyout. The Kfir as well can do single base strikes. It is usually much more efficient than getting kills for gaining RP.
My Kfir routine was bring 22 mins of fuel, beat everyone to the base, get that done then rush straight to the general direction where the slow attackers are coming (A-10/Su-25s etc) then try and gun kill one or two of them, then proceed on top see if there are any flareless targets over the main map, if so lob a 9G but if not then just sprinted back to the airbase and that usually earned me 15-25k a match with a win, not to mention a second sortie in the same match.
This combined with some consistency and the short nature of israeli air meant it only took 2 days to reach the netz/barak and then i grinded the Baz with a combination of all 3 aircraft when it came out, although i suspect i will try and grind the I-Baz with the Barak to get a hang of Derbys
I’m putting you down cause you are choosing the easier game mode then complaining about the rewards, even then in almost every game known to man kind easier game modes give worse rewards compared to harder game modes. Just because you have a skill issue doesn’t mean people think you are lesser than you, if anything I find it funny how you complain about not getting enough rewards while playing the game mode that gives the worst rewards lol
It’s not easier. How easy something is is defined how much effort it takes to win. Since you are playing against humans with the same tools as you, the difficulty is defined by the abilities of your opponent not the gamemode.
A game against a good arcade team is harder than playing RB against beginners.
With one exception, the only difference is the complexity. But even there the difference in AB and RB is almost non existent. A pen/lead-marker and then what? On the other hand at least for Air AB there are much more enemies around so the need for multitasking is increased considerably.
The only mode with a significant complexity increase over the rest is Air Sim… That’s it.
Trying to look down at AB players and then just playing RB is just silly.
Hell Air SB is even more difficult since there is a minimum skill requirement which increases the median skill level of your opponent. So on average the skill level of enemies is higher in sim.
But acting high and mighty because of RB? You are making a fool out of yourself.
Glass houses, you really shouldn’t throw “skill issue” around because even by your standards you chose to play “very easy” instead of “very very easy”. You haven’t come.close to touch the “hard” gamemode.
And that’s by your standard what is considered difficult.
Or do you do this, to make yourself feel better for playing RB? Because you cannot escape the inescapable fact that AB is more fun?
Saying sim gives more RP than GRB is simply not true. You get more RP only cause the games last longer than average GRB game, which is why the earnings are bigger. As the 90% of your RP comes from time played. As for the win, there is maybe single bracket where REDFOR is winning, otherwise they just get stomped by NATO.
If it wasn’t true why would I personally be doing it?
I win more in sim
Average more rp in sim
So your point?
And yes nato vs pact balance plays a huge part but at the end of the day this exact comparison is about grinding the fastest way possible so sim is indeed the best for grinding and the best for averaging way more rp compared to rb.
Again, you make more RP in SB compared to RB only cause the games take longer to finish and 90% of RP income is from time played, not actions. So its logical sim give more RP. If sim game would end within 8 min like most RB games, the gains would be same.
Last time I checked arcade literally tells you where to sim your cannons and you don’t have to worry about returning to the airbase cause you can rearm mid air, it is a easier mode compared to realistic hence the worse rewards. So my bad I guess you are purposely making the grind harder for yourself and then complaining that the grind is long.
Thar is also a disadvantage, especially at higher tiers. Just diving into the furball wont work, you have to be smart and pick your targets- and have very good reaction time.
And at top tier its an absolute mess, especially with -VPO- and GUUD existing.
