How do either of those planes factor into the equation? They’re both fine where they are right now. Just give the premium Hornet 9Ms and bump both of them up by .3. Actually a pretty easy fix tbh
You just missed the whole point there. The F/A-18C as it is CURRENTLY sits is in a weird BR point easily explained as 12.85 but seeing as that BR doesn’t exist, it has nowhere to go until something changes, whether through BR decompression or adding 9Ms to the early.

I don’t think it would be illogical, I honestly think decompression would work significantly better than just tossing it at 13.0 with 9Ms. Either way Gaijin is gonna toss it there once sales start getting stale

Gaijin doesn’t want to decompress, at least for now. It wants money. The F/A-18C Early is at 12.7, because Gaijin wants to sell it.
The fox-1 Hornets are strong, but it still has weakness.
If you simply don’t want to die, keep distance and run when Hornet is coming to you. Hornets have funny top speed.
If you want to kill it, it’s not easy, but still possible if you’re in a F-16 or something. Hornets have incredible AoA, but this consumes its energy greatly.
Just some suggestions for counter Hornets, making this less painful(maybe?). But at last, I always support decompression, the high level air BR is always shit.
F/A-18A sits at 12.3 sure but consider the opponents his facing at 13.3 because we all cope with uptiers more that downtiers
F/A-18C Early the premium one sits at 12.7 again AIM-7P are worst that R77s and many other missiles at his BR yes have only AIM-7Ps no other option and Ls for IR
F-15s are better overall radar flying characteristic sure you can argue about F-15A but this is not the only jet that sit at wird position this happening with F-16A with have 9Ls only

No, 12.3 gets massively downtiered often or sees 12.7. Even when it sees 13.0 it’s still piss easy. 13.3 games are EXTREMELY rare. Do not try to lie about matchmaking trends.
Literally you compared your 12.3-12.7 overpowered, overperforming jet with 13.0-13.3s because that was the only way to make it appear fair.
The IRIAF F-14A with AIM-9Ps, a God awful RWR and only 60 CM all whilst having amongst the hottest engines in-game does “well” at 13.0, I see no issue on why the F/A-18 shouldn’t be 13.0 as well.

Maybe not all… I don’t think a Tiger 1s driver view port eating a 600mm pen APFSDS is a compression issue… but it would fix a lot of balance issues.

You say is overpowered Jet at 12.7 BR for me is Mid nothing special every game had SU-27s SU-30s SU-33s and other Bias
so need to cope with F/A-18C that not have half of it’s real armament
