After spading the f40 i came to realize how much of a midmobile it is. It has worse performance than a 8.7 sabre, but sits at 9.0 because reasons. It has two aim9b’s, but why? the g91 r4 which is better in every single regard except for firepower can carry four and sits at 8.7. It is slow, rolls worse than a mig17 and has the acceleration and turning radius of a class 4 frigate. Besides i’ve been grinding through kill assists for how stale 50 cals are too.
I disagree with the fact that it lags behind the G.91 in performance, but it is entirely correct that the F-40 was assigned to an excessively high BR. There is a German sabre in the same BR lol

yeah except that in the current state of guns, i’m literally grinding this thing out through enemy kill assists.
I’m gonna rack pics here up with every match i do from now on because every match is literally like this. Combining 50 cal poor damage with the fact gaijin assigned me fragging issues upon making the account = great combo. (fun fact: i started with USSR but I did not get zhukovski’s i153)

i’m over 4kd on that thing, gets boring.
I have 0 issues with the sabre, its nothing too great or nothing too crap. imo its just a perfect balance decent all round plane
idk where you find “balance” on a 8.3 aircraft at 9.0. If no supersonics or no all aspect missiles were seen at 9.0 then it would be a high skill vehicle, but there are things at 9.0 that should be 9.7 at least.
Edit. Judging by your stats you seem to struggle quite a bit with it compared to other f-86 variants. Your stats on USA sabres are good on the other hand even if they have been 9.0 at some point.
the guy makes 1.8KD with it’s aircraft but ask for a BR change?
i’m doing nearly 5KD with it,… the F86-F40 is fine where it is.
what needs to go up is MiG-21’s/F-4’s and the whole JET TIERS that need a Decompression.

you did 5kd when no mig21 or aim9l was found at 9.0. I am doing 1.8kd with my frag defficiency issue and nerfed 50 cals with all the bullcrap seen like su7 and f3h2 and f104s.
in what world? if .50cals were nerfed, 40% aircrafts of the game would be currently nerfed, and this would bring a lot more complaints than just 1 aircraft.

I take back what I said, however back then 50 cals were indeed great. It was literally when I obtained my 4 kill death ratio on the cl13.

There do be many 50 cal nerf complaints, but they get dismissed because “its not a bug”.

Oh, so it’s the premium one, which you didn’t even need to spade. Point case is, you didn’t have to go through stock grind, while i did and still managed almost 2kd while having an average game of 1 kill and 4 assists. Had I been assigned a proper client connection I would have gotten 4kd. Had it been the premium and i’d have gotten 4 plus kd.

- Severe damage - is basically a kill
and yet, on you 300 bullet spray → see how many you’ve left out of target? from you pictures at least 200 of them went in the void (behind or outside of target)
also, i see you play on Tracer belt → Give “Universal” or “Ground Target” a chance, because the Full tracer belts often make people to misjudge their aim. (i had trouble with those while playing US variants)
yeah Venom need to be 8.3 (at the very least)
id go as far to say it should be 8.0 and the vampire to 7.3. its insane to have first generation (ww2) jets (vampire first flew in 1943) with the post ww2 second generation jet fighters

Vampire should be 7.7 in my book it would do as good as MD450’s (which are 7.7)
Venom should be 8.0 or 8.3, but certainly not 8.7
now that i put more thoughts on it, given the current state and facts that Venom was introduced as a F-86A/Mig-15 early counterpart (those are both 8.0) → i agree that the Venom should be 8.0.
