I know what is going on in this game. I had a PC account with rank 7 USA up to the F-5E, without premium. I had more matches than you in that account. I was forced to sell it during moving and decided to purchase an Xbox. It is a major difference in playstyle so I am still learning how to fly it and use the controller. Please do not insinuate I am not knowledgeable about the game and not able to discuss topics like this.

The MiG-21 is an easy kill if the F-5C pilot is competent. You have way more energy retention than it. Go vertical and then get guns on after you stall out and he is in a flat spin.

G.91 YS is at 9.3.
MiG-23BN is a strike aircraft. It can go about 40% faster than the F-5C. It can outrun even the AIM-9Es fired from 2KM rear. That’s what it should rely on.
Hunters, Harriers, and Jaguars can definitely win a dogfight against the F-5C. Just force a 1-Circle and don’t play into its advantages. Esp. since there can be no more than 4 +1 BR aircrafts, so you’re likely going to face very few F-5Cs.
You also have MUCH better missiles (AIM-9Gs), bombs + cannon CCIP/CCRP etc.
It’s silly to say that these aircrafts should never face the F-5C because of its turn rate, but it’s okay for the F-5C to face dozens of 35G SARHs and 40G R-73s with IRCCMs.

As someone who has 446 games with F-5C I disagree with you are saying “it is a mid aircraft at best” but I agree with it sitting at the same BR with F-5E at 11.0 is being too much. But I’m not saying F-5C should go down I’m saying F-5E should be moved to 11.3. But I also think Gaijin should arrange BRs better in the future updates

if f5c were to stay at 11.0 then j7e should go to 11.7 minimum and mig23’s to 12.0
I have more than 1100. We’re talking about aircraft performance here, not pilot skill.
I agree that if the F-5C is to remain at 11.0, max BR should go up to 14.0. 11.7 Mig-23s should go up to 12.0. F-4S (not J) can even go up to 12.3. Mig-21 SMT and MF should also go up to 11.0.
