G.91 YS is at 9.3.
MiG-23BN is a strike aircraft. It can go about 40% faster than the F-5C. It can outrun even the AIM-9Es fired from 2KM rear. That’s what it should rely on.
Hunters, Harriers, and Jaguars can definitely win a dogfight against the F-5C. Just force a 1-Circle and don’t play into its advantages. Esp. since there can be no more than 4 +1 BR aircrafts, so you’re likely going to face very few F-5Cs.
You also have MUCH better missiles (AIM-9Gs), bombs + cannon CCIP/CCRP etc.
It’s silly to say that these aircrafts should never face the F-5C because of its turn rate, but it’s okay for the F-5C to face dozens of 35G SARHs and 40G R-73s with IRCCMs.

As someone who has 446 games with F-5C I disagree with you are saying “it is a mid aircraft at best” but I agree with it sitting at the same BR with F-5E at 11.0 is being too much. But I’m not saying F-5C should go down I’m saying F-5E should be moved to 11.3. But I also think Gaijin should arrange BRs better in the future updates

if f5c were to stay at 11.0 then j7e should go to 11.7 minimum and mig23’s to 12.0
I have more than 1100. We’re talking about aircraft performance here, not pilot skill.
I agree that if the F-5C is to remain at 11.0, max BR should go up to 14.0. 11.7 Mig-23s should go up to 12.0. F-4S (not J) can even go up to 12.3. Mig-21 SMT and MF should also go up to 11.0.

It’s been a long time since I last played Mig-23MLD but I thought they nerfed it that’s why they didn’t move it to 12.0
That’s why I said Gaijin should arrange BRs better in the future updates. If there was BR 10.9 I would say Gaijin should move F-5C to there but there isn’t. And like you said if BRs was going up to 14.0 that could help with some things

The MiG-23 BN had to merge with the F-5Cs or flank hard, it is a positioning issue if the MiG encounters one at low speed but it’s not fair to the MiG to have to be entirely conscious about that all the time.
The Hunter, Harrier and Jaguar may be able to beat it in a one circle but any competent F-5C player has the choice on how and where to merge because of its amazing flight model. The hunter and jaguar are absolute busses once they even think about turning and the harrier is not exactly the fastest aircraft out there.
It is possible to beat any aircraft in any aircraft but pitting the Me-262 against the F-16 because it can beat it is wrong.
