Well, even though AIM-7F/M acts as one of the best SARH missiles in this game (damn these R-27ER)
And F-4J/S (USN) acts superior to counterparts in 12.0
I am unsure that we can nerf them to 12.3
Especially when Gaijin decided to send F-18A to 12.3 :/
Those bastards are annoying on downtier. But compression and napalm-bombers-with-no-missiles keep them safe from Nerf.
In the meantime, there is some other thread about ‘buff F-4J to 11.7’ :/

F-4EJ is mediocre for 11.0.
F-4E is great at 11.3 but its not overpowered, it has pretty large flaws and pretty isn’t overwhelmingly powerful in any regard.
F-4S is the strongest 12.0 but not by a massive amount and it has very exploitable flaws
F-4J is just F-4S but worse

In no way does this make sense under current compression
It’s objectively on the good side of average, with 4x 20mms and 8 missiles, but the F-4E is much better with the 7E2 and slats.
Compare them to like, any other 12.0s, F-4J UK is much worse, F-4M/K are quite worse, Tornado F.3 is a bit worse, same with other trees

I agree with you, but my KD on my F-4EJ is very good compared to my other aircraft and I personally love it.
The f4e has been more or less the same since it got the dogfight aim7s.
Does great fighting stuff 4km+ alt. At low alt, other jets can take it on pretty well.
The only way the f4s/j would become viable at 12.3 is if they are given their extra flares (that are missing rn) bc how hot the f4s/j runs

everyone’s different I guess but I’ve had no problem flaring in the F-4J
The f4s engines feel hotter since the flares are fired up and away from the engines, something like the F4E fires its flares behind the engines making flaring easier
I have the British F-4J, it has the same flaring system and I’ve had 0 issues with it.
If its the premium one i’m so sorry for your loss and if you mean the tt ones those get the F4E flare system

No nerfs/buffs are needed unless there is any unrealistic modeled stuff (submit your reports). Only decompression is required. Stop asking for nerfs against specific vehicles and ask for decompression instead.
