I would feel bad if we weren’t talking about top tier ground for Sweden. They have been used to getting first row treatment for top tier ground for other vehicles, so I don’t mind them taking the back seat for an update.

I dont care about top tier ground unless its a light tank or 10.x spaa from Finland, id like 7.x and 8.x to get something since they had their lineups decimated, i additionally 4.x could use anything but overtiered tank destroyers but ive been told sweden is OP at every BR and they are the best nation for everything so i dont really talk about them since i get into arguments that is just me talking to brick walls because people who have never touched the nation let alone more than one nation know more than i do but whatever l.
This comment isn’t really directed at you but i have more gripes with mid and early tier sweden which imo if they were the focus for a year i would love far more than top tier.

It’s literally just Germany. It’s nothing but Leopards and a VT-1 rocket, with an okay CAS plane. Nothing special, just a reskinned Germany.

It was only recently we got a decent round for the 122s, and it is still notably worse than Germany

That’s the thing, you can literally play any nation and be a better Sweden.
France: Leopard 2A6, CVs, and ItO
Germany: Leopard 2A6 and PSO, FlaRakRad for same missiles. Low tier is Panzers, BF-109, Ju-88. Also a slightly better Gepard.
Italy: Leopard, Apache, and Grippen
Britain: Centurion, Comet, and Vampire. Low tier is Gladiator.
Russia: all T-series tanks and MiG 21bis.
The only thing Sweden has for itself is the BILL (literally just TOW launcher for China), Drakken (terrible planes anyways), Viggen (better off using Mirage III), and some low tier tanks.

Further testing, this thing is useless. Half the time planes come in from an angle that doesn’t show up on radar, which means you can’t target it with the IRIS-T because apparently you require radar pings to slave the missile to. Which is further hindered by the fact the missile barely tracks targets that are on an approach path.

Boo hoo Sweden only has had the best Leopard 2s for 5 years. Gaijin really hates Sweden because they didn’t want to give them the 1 good thing that German Leo 2s were better at.
Depends what you consider recently. They gave the Strv 122s m/95 3 years ago in 2022.

Ah yes, a Copy-Paste Leopard PSO (with a cooler camo) is definitely the best Leopard in game. As long as you ignore the Leopard 2A7

I know you are rage baiting, but this is a low effort one. All the Strv 122 have the add on frontal armor which none of the other Leopard 2s have except for the 2A7s.
And even the 2A7 frontal add on armor is somehow worse than that on the Strv 122.
Doesn’t change having a subpar round and thermals that makes it look like you’re looking through a Minecraft block.
They have the same thermals as the 2A5, 2A6 and PSO in the other trees.
And the massive increase of armor compared to the 2A5 and 2A6 is a much bigger benefit than the marginally better round (above ~580mm pen there isn’t much of a difference between different darts until you go to extremes like the Object 292 round).

You’re right, last thing we need is this post getting shut down. The Elde needs a massive buff or it just needs to be gone. There is zero reason this knock-off Antelope should be higher than 10.3, especially with the fact that it spends more time in the sky than CAS players.
Eh… is should be higher than the Type 81 but the Ttpe 81 shouldn’t be 11.7 gaijin balanced it because myself and other Japanese players tend to find single celled organisms piloting at 12.0, the Type 81 should be lower in BR and the BR’s could use an extra 3-4 new BR’s to decompress some tanks and spaa. The Eldenhet is a better Type 81 but its not really hard to better than that and the Eldenhet is just powercrept to hell. We need more BR’s with SPAA being spread out much further. The Eldenhet imo shouldn’t be added as its a pointless addition whose existence will be used by gaijin to ignore giving a proper spaa when even more cancer CAS munitions are added and the Ito will still be the better option for SPAA.

Oh yeah, that Toyota truck definitely should not be 11.7, at best it should be 11.0, but God forbid we actually base things on how they are instead of how terrible other players are. Then again, maybe the game would be balanced and not based around who makes Gaijin the most money.
I seriously still don’t get why they put in a significantly weaker SPAA above the ItO. In my opinion, the ItO is the second best SPAA in game. Why would anyone want a (as I said) copy of the Antelope that has already been proven in game to be a massive flop. Ever since it was announced, it was a joke to the community, and all this Dev Server stuff is showing is that its potential is sky high.
Hmm well, isn’t the OTOMATIC 11.3? I heard it’s insufferable. Maybe that’s why the Type-81 is 11.7.
