TO MAKE IT VERY CLEAR I UNDERSTAND NOTHING IS FINAL
However, the EldE 98 just cannot compete with the other systems at its BR.
First off, the radar elevation is abysmally low, an enemy can just climb to a moderate altitude and be far above your radar, and you can do absolutely nothing other than call “air alert” and hope someone else shoots it. This does affect the other systems, however none except the Japanese Tan-SAM are affected to this degree.
Secondly the 4 missiles are just pitiful for the BR, they are great missiles and will likely get better if/when the seekers and radars get fixed (hopefully before live) but the other systems get very comparable missiles and far more of them even when accounting for the ammo box.
Thirdly, you’re far easier to find from a distance. The other building sized units are certainly not hard to spot once within a few km, but none of them have their position revealed by their launchers firing. The EldE 98 having to tow its missiles means whenever you fire you give away your location.
Lastly, I know people will naturally compare it to the current top tier systems such as the It0 and ADATs both with similar range and worse performance, however those should be at a lower BR as well.

Hopefully this will be reported and fixed. I personally don’t have time to make a report. It should be 70 deg, it’s currently 22 deg in DEV.

The rest of your post i agree with for the most part :)
Edit:
Apparently already reported and accepted:

yeah would agree that the EldE 98 is on the weaker side of all the new AAs being added this update. Also on a side note with another AA being added that can be a bit stronger is the NASAMS HML from norway which is the same or almost the same as the american slamraam being added this update i think

I don’t have the EldE so I can’t give a based opinion, but with the new SPAAs, I think they should raise the BR in ground vehicles. Let’s be honest, the Ito doesn’t compare in any way to the IRIS-T SLM, and the 0.3 gap on the Flarakrad is a lie as it’s much different. Same would go for the ADATS (both US and British ones) and of course the OTOMATIC (which is 11.3 but still). I repeat that this is just based on their stats, not their performance as we’re still in the first day of the dev server.
Hopefully separate the IRIS-T from the EldE in BR terms. And this would also mean that if they changed BRs on SPAAs, they’d probably have to change BRs on planes too.
Actually they both have their place, the elde is better for killing aircraft than the ito, but the ito can kill munitions. Most of the new aa’s can’t intercept anything meaning the old aa’s are still needed.

If you drive to the center of the test drive you can’t shoot anything at all. Pretty funny and pretty sad.

NASAMS HML is the finished product of SLAMRAAM Kongsberg and the US worked together on the project and the US pulled out in 2010 leaving Norway to finish the project. SLAMRAAM can go to sweden technically but id rather NASAM HML
The EldE 98 can also easily intercept munitions, i REALY hope that the do not forget adding that functionality before it goes to live server.

Yes before being left as free food because you get 8 missiles total making it one of the most worthless vehicles in terms of ammo capacity. Again you can’t try to say its a decent vehicle when its putclassed in nearly every regard by old and new spaa. The ito is better and will be better until we get an actually useful addition.

It’s at the bottom of the new ones, yes, but i think you underestimate the power of the fire and forget ability. It’s likely going to perform better than the ItO, at least in anti air capability. All in all? perhaps not, the ItO is able to get ground kills as well and is VERY fast and can get to and take capture points decently.
We’ll see once it hits live though.
i see i thought they were the same but SLAMRAAM was just US designating it different, if thats the case yeah just add the NASAMS HML
Problem is compression specifically for CAS in grb, they have to cram every new jet in 12-13. Ground should be at least keeping parity with air but its not.
SPAA is sort of OK from 8.0-11.0 but all the systems in game now around 11-12 are just cooked by newer planes.
NASAM HML has a cover for the missiles and a new turret drive and electronic equipment. It would be a marginally better system which meams the US would scream bias if they didn’t get it despite not having anything to do past the SLAMRAAM.

Do you mean the 3+3 crates? The HML has a four missile open rail, to mount either AMRAAM or 9X.
HML also has the mount that SLAMRAAM does or at least the 2017 model does as its been seen with AIM 9X in between the Aim 120, i k ow later model doesn’t use it as they dont use aim 9x for ground but realistically gaijin can choose between the mounts they want when they choose what vehicle to add.
From 14. I think the HML only have been used with 4 rails in Norway
Same Problem on the SLM, you wont Catch any thing xD because well, your Radar is dogshit currently
Id have to email and see if i could get specifcs lol, it doesn’t really matter tbh given Norway would have acces to both SLAMRAAM and HML since they worked on both.
