Which you have to buy for £60-£70 I would agree with you if it was a TT aircraft, but being a premium, its irrelevant
Id be fine with them if they didnt have a 4 round ready rack and had maintained their reload advantage which they had for years. So give them their 20 round ready rack maybe buff them to 4/4.5 second reload (especially on the CR3TD) and then fix some of the 40? or so bug reports concerning the CR2s armour. Then maybe it will be more playable.
In the meantime. I’ll either stick at 10.7 with the CR1s or just not play GRB at all.
Are we still talking about that? IOG is not the same between the hellfire and the KH38 The KH38 has an inertial drift speed of 1.25°/s and the hellfire of 3.5°/s (again would’ve known this if you actually read the spreadsheet) The lower the better.
I have a feeling that you’re not reading what I’m saying. The KH38 is significantly more powerful than Maverick. When I have claimed the opposite? And again, if you read the spreadsheet, the mavericks cannot be used at a longer range than the spaa.
The problem with maverick being called a long range weapon is that it loses significant speed. If the target is completely stationary, the maverick will hit, but as soon as it moves, the chance of hitting it reduces a lot. A byproduct of that issue is the time it takes to hit the target. Long range launches will take significant time. In that time, it can easily be shot down, target gets into cover, or target dies.
What makes the KH38 deadly isn’t the range. It’s the speed and explosive mass. It is a very reliable missile and that can knock out any vehicle. The maverick can pack a punch but it needs a direct hit center of mass and even that, sometimes fall pray to volumetric.
this was a discussion I had with you weeks ago… Which you seemed to not read… Again.
edit:
aand there we go. @AlvisWisla disengages from the conversation when he’s being called out.
It can, but mostly with the track radar, that goes 75 degree up. Search radar is a gamble, some times it does, sometimes it does not (yes i am aware how it function, im taking about a moment where search radar beam does cross the missile)
Which wreckage? In the video they just send it to a point, that can be done with any gps guided bomb,
It could, still you will need more evidence, also there is another issue, im pretty sure that this is intended agaisnt strategic targets, enven if it gets active radar it doesnt mean that it can lock small object like tanks, let alone moving ones.
I personally think that this is a gps only weapon, at the end it would be relatively equivalent to the Chinese glide bomb ot the SBD that we saw on the trailer.
Significantly less range. Not to mention it’s much heavier and has even less range than the 65D. ~40km max range (at high alt and on a good day ofc, most of the time it’s ~30km given a 5km alt launch) vs ~20-25km max range is no comparison at all.
The Pantsir-S1 can easily and reliably intercept any AGM-65 without a problem. You could fire a full volley of 6 mavs and any S1 player who knows how to properly intercept multiple at a time will have no issue defeating them (unless it’s a really close range pop up and launch em all kamikaze launch)
The Video just shows them being fired my guy there is no guidance or targeting being shown.
Radar cannot lock moving targets, hmmm yes that seems right.
You are aware that the SBD and Chinese bombs are glide bombs, they dont have any motor, these obviously do and have a massive range do to it. OR we can just say the massive cloud behind the missile is condensation if you want.
Shrimply a krill issue.
Any Pantsir-S1 with a decent level of awareness can easily intercept multiple missiles. Not to mention the extra experienced players who know the keybinds can engage two AGMs at once.
The Pantsir is not capable of doing that consistently on CAS playing properly.
It’s Russian propaganda to claim that it is when there’s only evidence of CAS playing incorrectly.
