The bomber damage model rework seems to be either hugely overtuned or bugged in some way.
The sheer amount of 30mm and 20mm that he gets hit with doesnt even result in a fire lol.
I had a nasty feeling gaijin might overtune it, but i didnt expect it to be this bad.
Clip here shows a B-17 tanking 10x 50mm HE rounds, each shell has nearly half a kg of tnt equivalent.

Yeah, they have very much overtuned it, or ig it could be a bug like its applying multiple times, like back when realshatter first came out and aircraft skin was double thickness.

Don’t know what you did with bombers survivability, but it went beyond my imagination. B-17’s surviving sidewinders, even a phoenix. You can even ram, your plane explodes whilst the bomber keeps flying.

It does not feature improved engine. It has same 520 HP the IS-2 has in game. Only diff is the transmission, but +3 front top speed and +2 reverse top speed is not worth it when you’re 2,3 tons heavier, rendering your acceleration worse. Maybe if they add HEAT it’s gonna be worth 6.7 but as of right now it’s just a worse IS-2 1944.
The engine may have been superior IRL (better systems, better life and reliability) but it doesnt matter in game.
where is HEAT APKWS
theres even another clone being added with larger launchers and this time on a heli

After the sparrow FM changes the AIM-7M is now significantly harder to outroll than the PL-12 and pulls more
The PL-12 is now the only missile at top tier that can be consistently defeated by rolling
F-86E-6-CAN for the US in any way, could be added aswell even though its a slightly different variant, gib
