Check out the main features

Take a look at the major changelog for bug fixes, ordnance additions and changes, plus improvements to many areas of the game.

Vehicles

We’ve got a bunch of new vehicles in this update, including the AS-90, Hungarian aircraft, more Rank IX aircraft and more!

Locations

This dev server has the new White Rock Fortress for Ground Battles, which returns to the rotation and features a graphical makeover. Only missions on this location will be available in the Ground Battles rotation on the dev server.

How the dev server works

The dev server uses a copy of your account from the main game server, taken from recent days.

Earned & Spent items

Anything you do on the dev server is not transferred to the live main server, such as Research Points and Silver Lions earned, achievements unlocked and vehicles unlocked. This also applies to any Golden Eagles, Silver Lions and Research Points that you spend on the dev server — nothing will be subtracted from your live server account.

Purchasing on the dev server

Golden Eagles and other things purchased through the dev server are credited to your account on the main server.

Special settings are in effect on the dev server

  • x5 bonus to earning Research Points and Silver Lions
  • All vehicles are two times cheaper
  • Convertible research points using Golden Eagles is two times cheaper

Leaving Feedback & Bug Reports

All feedback and bug reports help us to fix any issues or change any features before the major update is released on the live server.

New locations and missions

  • Ardennes — the location has been completely graphically updated. The models of buildings, decorative objects, the appearance of the landscape and vegetation have been updated. Interactive abandoned bulldozers and tractors have been added. However, the landscape and the general layout of the location have remained largely unchanged, allowing you to use the same tactics as before.
  • White Rock Fortress — the location has been completely graphically updated and added back to the rotation. The following gameplay changes have been made as well: the landscape elevation differences have been reduced, the roads have been re-planned, the landscape along them has been changed, additional passages in the long parts of the walls have been added, the spawn points have been relocated and made more protected, but the general layout of the location remains the same.

Location and mission updates

  • 38th Parallel — the slope in grid square G6, which allowed players to shoot at the exit from the northern team’s spawn point has been blocked.
  • It is now possible to spawn on aircraft carriers in all Air RB missions where the carriers are present, even if there is an aerial spawn available.
  • “Front line” missions — the locations of the airfields at low and middle Battle Ratings are now different from the locations at high Battle Ratings. Previously, battles at all ranks had the same airfield location.
  • Air RB missions now use the same sets of anti-aircraft guns and SAMs guarding the airfields as in Enduring Confrontation missions. The set of AA located at airfields depends on the session Battle Rating:
    • There used to be three sets of AA used at the following Battle Ratings: 1.0-2.7, 3.0-7.3, 7.7+.
    • There are now seven sets of AA used at the following Battle Ratings: 1.0-2.0, 2.3-3.3, 3.7-4.7, 5.0-6.3, 6.7-7.7, 8.0-10.3, 10.7+.
  • All [Operation] missions (except the “light vehicles” versions):
    • The distances between both main airfields and stage airfields and the mission “center” have been corrected so that they are the same for all missions.
    • Used airfield models have been corrected for all Battle Ratings. Now, at high Battle Ratings, both the main and stage airfields have a 3 km long runway, while at the middle and low Battle Ratingss, the runway is 1.6 km long.
  • Arabian Sea — a bug that caused an invisible obstacle to be present on the location has been fixed. (Report).
  • City — a bug that caused the inland bodies of water to disappear has been fixed. (Report).

  • Admiral Graf Spee — a bug where the frontal armor plates of the main caliber turrets did not rotate with the turret when viewing the animations in the hangar has been fixed. (Report).

Naval Visual models and visual parts:

  • The anti-torpedo bulges are now displayed in the Xray in the hangar.
  • MPK Pr.12412 — the SAM launcher, which is unavailable for use, has been removed from the boat’s X-ray. (Report).
  • MPK Pr.201M, MPK Pr.201K — the position of the autocannon operator’s hands has been corrected. (Report).
  • RN Italia — the display of the star on the ship’s bow has been corrected. (Report).
  • A bug that prevented the visual bubble trail effect of torpedoes in the water from displaying has been fixed. (Report).

Localization

  • 37 mm FlaK LM/42 mount — gun name has been corrected. (Report).
  • Novorossiysk — 120 mm auxiliary gun description has been corrected in its X-ray tooltip. (Report).

Interface

  • A new hit icon has been added — it indicates crew losses. Along with three icons showing hits on the enemy and their results, the enemy’s crew losses are now also displayed. The icon display and their set can be customized in the settings.
  • Display of your own torpedoes has been added to the map and minimap. Launched torpedoes and their paths are now clearly visible.
  • Added a hit notification for your own torpedo. If a player’s torpedo hits an enemy, a notification will appear in the center of the screen, regardless of whether a target is currently selected or not.
  • IJN Oyodo — a bug that caused the 152 mm Type 91 shell card to show information about a 100 mm anti-aircraft shell has been fixed. (Report).

Other

  • The truck wheel decoration can now be attached to the side of ships. (Report).

Customization

  • New camouflages for post-war ships of the USA, France, Germany, Italy, Britain and Japan have been added, available for purchase for Golden Eagles.
  • New additional camouflages for ground vehicles of the USSR, China, Great Britain, and Germany have been added, available for completing missions and for purchase with Golden Eagles.
  • The list of additional camouflages for the USSR SPAAs based on wheeled vehicles has been expanded.

Awards

  • The ability to obtain an 11th crew slot for ten invited players acquiring rank III vehicles has been removed. Instead, the 11th crew slot is now available to all players for Golden Eagles.

Interface

  • Added the ability to change the radar screen zoom level within a desired area. To zoom, hover the cursor over the desired area of the radar indicator and use the mouse wheel to change the zoom level. The zoomed area can be moved by holding down the middle mouse button. When using the sector indicator mode, instead of the rectangular one, the zoomed area is displayed in a separate screen next to the main one.
  • Added cursor control for ground vehicle radars.
  • Added target type indication for radars capable of target recognition by their radar signature (non-cooperative target recognition, NCTR); the indication works in the TWS mode.
  • Added a target filter for aircraft radars capable of target type recognition.
  • Updated vehicle stat cards. Elements of the cards can now be interacted with: Some highlighted parts will display their own tooltip when hovered over. New information and helpful clarifications have been added, and links from the card to the armor view and X-Ray view have been added.
  • Tooltips displaying the parameters of a selected projectile at key points in flight have been added to the projectile comparison window.

Game mechanics

  • The failure of the rudder and elevator control cables in aircraft is no longer dependent on the tearing off of the stabilizer surfaces, rudders, or vertical stabilizers, allowing control of the remaining elevator or rudder elements to be maintained. Control rods can still be disabled by directly destroying the control rod components themselves or by disabling them through tail separation.

Game mechanics

  • Water has been reworked in all locations:
    • The wave shape and distribution is now more natural, with sharp crests when rough.
    • Reflections on the water are now anisotropic, blurred towards the observer.
    • Foam has been redesigned.
  • Updated visual effects for interaction with water: explosions, vehicle movement, munition impacts.
  • The dynamics of falling trees have been improved. They now bounce more realistically on the ground and are slightly flattened under the influence of gravity.

Sound

  • A stereo headphone output mode has been added. This improves the horizontal and vertical positioning of the following enemy/ally vehicle sounds: ground vehicle engines, aircraft engines, and all weapon firing. This also applies to certain explosions: vehicle destruction, bomb explosions, and artillery shell explosions.
  • As part of the new stereo headphone output mode, 6 expanded stereo panorama modes have also been added, which, depending on the type of used headphones and individual hearing differences can improve the perception of sound positioning in the game. Some of the modes can, in turn, worsen the experience for a specific player. We recommend trying them all and choosing the one which fits you the best.

When will Type 10’s steering be fixed? It’s been over 5 years since it’s been broken!

Every major update, I check the patch notes in hopes of seeing a fix, but it’s never there.

Just one of the more recent “accepted” reports; Community Bug Reporting System

Even some YouTubers and models have managed to fix it for making demonstrations on how it should turn!

Is the changes to power planned to be adjusted?

These two changes that have been in the waitlist for some time is very good news.
Shame that:

They did this…

Why is the separate screen not available when using the B scope?

Does that means that the J-10C isn’t going to receive the WS-10 engine this update but just the PL-12A?

Vickers GBT 155 rate of fire seems to be way slower then what was suggested by Vickers documents?

10 seconds “best” reload for the ready rack when it could fire 3 rounds in 13 seconds and intense (in game sustain reality lol) a 10 second reload after that.

Currently way slower on both sides of that equation. 13 seconds on the ready rack per shot, and 18 seconds(?) after that. Stock reload ofc, when ace crew it goes to 10 seconds ready rack and im not sure for after that, but still worse then the 6 rpm of the document.

Is this changing or need a bug report?

Ah, ok thanks.

I missed it in the changelog

US top tier uncooked?

Does this include the J20 as well?

Ooooooh

ACLOS?

With a BR increase to 14.7 right?

Is that it, is that all the Typhoon reports you could be bothered to fix?

Nothing for the Harrier of course

The Patton family of vehicles really just ping-pong their gun handling characteristics every few years don’t they?

M47 went from good gun depression, to atrocious, to good again.

M47 went from average turret traverse, to incredibly fast, to average, to incredibly fast again.

M46 has went from decently fast turret traverse, to mediocre, to now decently fast again.

In the whole update, I’m most curious about those points.

Could it actually be that the Stormer HVM becomes useful?!?
