At the BR of 12.3~13.3 in combat, only a few aircraft at 13.3 BR have active radar homing missiles (Fox-3), while the rest are equipped only with semi-active radar homing missiles (Fox-1). I don’t understand how I am supposed to fly these aircraft to compete against those with active missiles.
As for the F-14, it, along with the AIM-54 it carries, was indeed born very early (1970s), and its overall performance is not sufficient to break the game’s balance.
However, the Su-30MK2/ Su-30MKK/ Su-34, which generally had prototypes in the 1990s and entered service much later. Similarly, the AIM-120A carried by the F-16A ADF/ F4F KWS LV also entered service in the 1990s, and the DERBY missile carried by the Kfir C.10 was even developed successfully in the 21st century.
I don’t understand how I am supposed to fly aircraft from the 70s and 80s to fight against aircraft from the 90s and 21st century, some of which even have AESA radar.
Also laughably,in SB mode, the Su-33, which lacks active missiles, is at the same BR as the Su-30MKK and Su-30MK2.
I believe a BR adjustment should be made to separate aircraft equipped with Fox-3 missiles from those with only Fox-1 missiles. Otherwise, all they need to do is fire their Fox-3s, and aircraft in the 12.3–13.0 BR range would have no way to counter them
So, you’re not going to suggest any concrete changes yourself? You just vented your complaints in the form of a bug report?
Do you only want changes applied to high ranks?
If you’re writing a bug report, at least come up with some alternative proposals.
Reciprocating-engine fans might grimace if they came across this topic.
The solution is simple: just adjust the BRs to separate aircraft equipped with Fox-3 from those with only Fox-1. But Gaijin is busy making money every day and doesn’t care at all about a mode that only a few people play.
As for low ranks, since I’ve never played SB mode there, I can’t see the issues either.
Don’t waste your time. Gaijin does whatever makes the most £.
Players live in a delusion that decompression will actually one day come- it wont. This is how it is. Enjoy the few good jets, inevitably get bored and find a new game.
The common logic is to only play your aircraft when it is at the top of the BR Bracket. So your Fox-2 capable plane should really never be seeing ARH carriers unless you are playing it at 13.0 and above.
Simplest solution is to just not play the game when you are at a disadvantage.
