The BR adjustment for planes above 13.0 in ARB

About two years ago, Gaijin implemented a BR reshuffle for aircraft originally at 11.3 and above: they expanded the spacing between the former 11.0–11.3 bracket, promoting most aircraft previously at 11.3 and higher to 12.0, 12.3, 12.7, and beyond, while splitting the original 11.0 tier into two distinct brackets—11.0 and 11.3.

Now, two years later, aircraft at 12.0 and above are suffering under pronounced pressure from platforms equipped with ARH missiles , making gameplay in these brackets exceptionally challenging. Consequently, a further BR adjustment for aircraft at 13.0 and above has become necessary.

With that in mind, I’d like to offer a few preliminary suggestions:

  • Move aircraft such as the Su-27, Su-33, and J-11—which carry lots of R-27ER loadouts—alongside relatively underperforming ARH-equipped platforms like the JA37DI, AV-8B+, Sea Harrier FA2, and Tornado F3 (Late), to BR 13.3, the F5E with derby should remain in 13.0.
  • Promote the F-4F KWS and JF-17 to BR 13.7.
  • Shift the Kfir C10, Su-30AMV/MKK, F-16D, and similar aircraft up to BR 14.0.
  • Aircraft currently above these tiers would then be incrementally promoted accordingly.

The advantage of this restructuring lies in creating room for future additions of other second-generation fighters capable of carrying ARH missiles. Otherwise, it remains unreasonable to crowd numerous aircraft of vastly differing performance into the narrow 13.0–13.3 bracket solely because they happen to carry active missiles. This adjustment would also alleviate pressure on certain aircraft in the 12.x brackets, sparing them from facing disproportionately powerful opponents.

Under this same logic, the F-15A/J should return to BR 13.0. Additionally, the weapon loadouts for all MiG-29 9-12 variants in the game—particularly those operated by non-Soviet nations—should be revised: they ought to gain the historically accurate R-73 missile while having the anachronistic R-27ER removed, as this configuration never existed in service.

Everyone is welcome to share further suggestions—especially regarding where aircraft currently at 13.3 and above should be placed if the BR spread is expanded. Your insights are appreciated.

Although the Sea Harrier FA2 could be moved down to 12.7 instead, it would be a much fairer BR placement lol

Imo f4f should go to 13.3 not 13.7. Its fm is just too mediocre for 13.7.

Kfir c10 being the same br as the su-30mkk/mk2 imo is bad, as it’s much worse than those planes. Put it at 13.7 or 13.3.

so maybe the kfir need to share the same br with JF17
