The BMPT-72 and BMPT needs to be 12.0 or 12.7

but your not aware of the problem and you let your anger consume you. every solution that you mention wont help for both sides.

bmpt cant be 11.7, simply because of the atgms that cant get to the target in time before getting shot.
reaction times are fast in top tier, and having laser beam atgm wont help you at all.

plus no apfsds round for it since it didnt use it at all.

the only way is 11.3 for bmpt and bmpt-72.
that said if gaijin will consider crew for balence.

BMPT users are not in need of assistance or sympathy. It is far better for one vehicle to be underpowered than for that same vehicle to ruin an entire BR bracket.

Well considering they perfectly fine in top tier every time I see one I’m willing to bet they would not struggle at 11.7.

So, by this logic, shouldnt all the totally unarmoured light tanks that are reliant on ATGMs be a waaaaaay lower BR? Because they can just be killed before their missiles hit?

Like say Bradley/Desert Warrior that are only at 10.0 because of their very very slow ATGMs compared to those on the BMPT (nearly half the speed) that also cant be fired on the move.

All moving them up in BR does, is make them face better shells.

BMPT vs DM53 L/55 is no different to a Bradley or Desert Warrior facing an appropriate 10.0 shell.

every vehicules can be uptier. look at the 2s25m, that thing can be played from 10.3 to top tier and have the same perf or better.

the question is what is the minimum br for that vehicule who is the bmpt.

Id vote 11.7.

Because most 10.7s have a shell that can reliably counter it. Not all 10.3s do. it also prevents the 10.3 IFVs that lack an ATGM that might be able to scratch the BMPT from being able to see it.

Bradley and Desert Warrior are 10.0. They are pretty much just TOW slingers, their guns are useless vs anything with even a little armour and neither can hulldown

yeah having like a million atgm. at this point just put the ariete at 9.7 and call it a day

also dont base the whole perf of a ifv simply of its atgm, tow can /need to be fixed

Your argument is that the BMPT cannot be 11.7+ because those tanks could kill it before the ATGM impacted and kill said MBT, right?

This is despite the fact that the ATGMs it has are very fast, and its very very capable at hiding in hull down and can fire on the move. A rare trait for ATGM vehicles. It can also fire 4 very rapidly. No MBT can fire 4 shells in rapid fire.

and yet… Vehicles like the Desert Warrior and Bradley, at 10.0, which have slow ATGMs, cannot be fired on the move, cannot really be fired hulldown, all whilst in vehicles with a fraction of the survivability of a BMPT (whos armour can actually resist top tier shells I might add) are supposedly fine at their current BR (for the record, both routinely compete for the worst performing vehicle at 10.0 by quite a margin)

Yes. At 11.7+ the BMPTs would no longer be able to press W and get nukes quite as easily. But quite frankly, for anything with an autocanon, that is exactly how it should be balanced. It should be placed at a BR where its armour is heavily mitigated, force it to play smart. Its still gunna be a giant pain in the ass even if it was placed at 12.7

No where near to the level the BMPT can, a hit to the turret is still gunna do major damage, if not potentially kill the Bradley.

its simple, i will play it 11.7 just for you. wont show down tier ( unless if you want )

hit to the turret of the bmpt can kill the crew and 100% kill both breech / ammo / auto loader / gun barrel
