The Black Prince's BR

Unions were the only thing to save your nation, if you had a different government. There are plenty of things to blame for the UK’s failure but most comes from Tory governance strip mining your nation and failing to encourage home growth, not unions. Industry was dead the moment it was stripped, and sold to foreign territory instead of implementing effective labour laws. Certainly didn’t help you lot legged it from the economic bloc that kept you afloat in a world dominated by the US. Similar thing occurred here under a similar party, just we didn’t have an economic bloc that kept us afloat and just had to wear the hurt.

Now under the thumb of the yanks. But it’s an easier narrative to blame unions tbch.

i live on the docklands in london, it was a very different mess to the more famous miners strikes and such.

Unions benefit everyone, when they’re supported and encouraged in industry. Regrettably, when they aren’t encouraged it can lead to strife amongst the working class, and it does disincentivise business when appropriate laws to support unionionised work are neglected (or in the case of the UK, hollowed out). But it is an awfully complicated topic that’s just easier to write off and blame.

Tories wanted to sell British assets and unionised workplaces wouldn’t have helped that, now the UK’s where it is and no party the UK picks will push for unions because it isn’t profitable and what’s left to unionise that wasn’t already sold to the highest bidder.

when unions get too much power they can tear it all down, it was all a terrible mess that I hate happened because I know if it was even slightly different, there would be consistent work where I am

This is generally inaccurate for the most part. Unsupported unions that are ran poorly can cause havoc, but it’s a rarity. If your nation didn’t push to vilify unions it likely wouldn’t have ended up going how it did, as I said, it is much harder to sell unionised businesses out from under the workers. But with all things, there are always points where it falls flat. In the case of Britain, much of this comes from labour laws being hollowed out to make things easier to sell and to make forming unions generally much harder to do effectively. Had a government with actually sane policies regarding organised labour been in power, Britain likely would have been one of the stronger places for organised labour.

Some unions fail because of pricks leading them, but it is more often than not influenced by outside forces. Unions without power tend to be used as a scapegoat for a poor economic situation, as there was naught they could do in the long run. This is more often than not incentivised by goverments similar to the Tories, which means that Unions are a hell of a lot easier to blame, and a hell of a lot less effective at pushing for workers rights.

But this is a topic that requires far more background than I can provide off the top of my head half asleep.

and with this im going to peace out of the conversation because I just wanted to roast the same Teaboo in a second thread for complaining about his heavy tank not being invincible. not become a politics discussion. apologies to the moderators

Yea. Likewise going to head. Unlike you, happy to discuss politics, but definitely needs a half competent interlocutor that isn’t just going to spew conspiracies with little basis in reality.

My family knew maggie thatcher that may explain a few things lol. nice chatting though

Aye, take care.

I have removed it so you can stick to your Fosters and Sheep : )

Also, Ah yes… the AIRCRAFT engine designed to fly upside down and at all kinds of angles, would be upset by being set in a tank at a like 15-20 degree angle to make it clear the Engine deck.

Hell the Black Prince in game is already MODELED with the Meteor engine.
image

IT is Physically modeled with the V12, and the Fuel tank and radiator set up that was going to be used for the Meteor engine. NOT the Bedford Type 120, which was just a modified version of the Churchill’s Flat 12 Twin Six engine.

And the CHURCHILLS in game do have the proper Model for the Bedford Twin six, it is entirely different from the model in the Black Prince.

the merlin was famous for cutting out in negative Gs so no it wasn’t made to fly upside down
nor was it ever off-camber by a few degrees for months of operation, planes don’t fly sideways, nor do tanks, boats or cars, they all tend to have their engines built to be on level ground.

The black prince model is from NINE years ago, when a lot of information on more niche tanks wasn’t all online yet, errors were more common in models, just like the smoke discharger being modelled at the front of the turret when it was actually at the rear on the existing black prince at the tank museum in England, I’ve seen it for myself and war thunders model is quite poor in honesty, as per a lot of the British vehicles first added, World of Tanks is significantly more accurate in its model

The In game Black Prince isn’t based off Prototype #4, its based off #1, the original, which had the smoke discharger at the front, among other differences.

But hey you clearly already don’t know shit about it so why should i bother explaining stuff to you.

Ive studied this thing for years, i know the little quirks of every Prototype, Like #3 being nearly completely welded construction with NO visible bolts on the side armor. And having extra armor over the forward part of the hull where the side armor met the inside armor of the tracks.

you also thought a ford was British so I doubt you’re an expert on machinery.

if you think you have compelling evidence to get BP moved to 5.7 and get an engine it never really was tested with then bug report it. stop being a butthurt teaboo on the forums while you’re at it

Bruh i’m a engineer.

atleast partially, I know my way around shit.

I’ve never got a chance to use my Training, BUT i know my stuff

My '63 Ford Mustang with the inline 6 doesnt want to idle properly, would adapting a two chamber carburetor fix the issue?

nice little backtrack in your edit and is that why youve been complaining in the forums about a wrong model giving false hope for over a year?

Likely a Timing issue more than anything, Double check your Timing, and that your advance and everything is working, Sand the points and all that Jazz, if that doesn’t help it MAY be a carb issue, or it could be a multitude of other issues like burnt valves, Maybe just a old tired motor.
