The battle tasks promote antisocial gaming

This game by itself antisocial. Assist and winning doesn’t have the same reward as killing. ground target and bases doesn’t have the same importance as other people on the field. the more you dove into it the more you realized that this game is one death FFA with “red vs blue” mask.

wouldn’t mind if certain tasks staked, e.g get a title gold or silver in 5 matches…i’ve been able to get 3 gold titles and more in one match before and yet only one counts -_- they need to stack if you ask me.

My first special task for new season is 80% activity on winning team 7 times.

Holy Crap!
That’s a minimum of 14 battles since on average you will win 50% of your battles.
Then there’s the 80%… nothing during battle gives you measurement - at least not that I can tell.
Have 2/7 so far, and could have been 4 but I had 75% and 78% activity in two battles.

What the heck are they measuring?

Choose your BR then… You also only have to use 1 rank 3 vehicle in the lineup to qualify.

Agree but gaijin would prefer a system like this so that you need a wider variety of vehicles to grind the bp effectively and thus are more likely to buy vehicles that help you achieve different types to tasks quickly. It’s a tactic to get players to spend more money and time on the game and player comfort is not a consideration.

A while ago I completed a simple task only on the third try because of the idiotic activity requirement. Our team was winning too fast, I was getting less than 85%, despite being in the lead and never getting shot down.

I’m changing all special tasks where the team’s victory is one of the conditions. There are other, more stable tasks, for example 6 battles with 6 frags or shoot down 15 attack aircraft in AAB, try to get them.

GL is not worth suffering, trying to do a task with inconvenient conditions.

That’s all activity is.

f(activity, time).

As a rule of thumb, ~1200 score for a 12 minute time-alive gives at least 90% score in ARB.

Not saying it’s not a horrible task, but I’m just trying to dispel the myth that “Activity” has anything to do with “Activity”.

It’s just f(score, time alive) on a non-linear function.

In air SB, activity is kind of shaped like a logistic function which effectively plateus at 92% for 15 minutes at 1050 score - going from 1050 to 2050 score gives at most 93% activity.
