The AIM-9B doesn't suck

That’s why any good IIIC player will launch at you from 1km above and 2km behind you when you’re not looking.

Staple of the forum. talking about stuff you don’t own as if you’re an expert on it

You just gotta stay away and it’s fine. Htey are really slow luckily

I know, with time I learnt how to deal with every threat (the hard way, like the high risk high reward this plane is). Except in full uptiers, I don’t bother. The foxbat denies high altitude, and MiG-21s are monsters at low altitude

I have stopped actually playing full uptiers because of the Mig-25. Everything else can be dealt with at the BR even the 21 variants but not the 25. Every single time I tried going high I was just swatted out of the sky by one of them. Not worth it to fly low and have no good use for the R530 and not having the energy advanateg for magics.

Yeah the Mirage IIIC is a pretty bad lawnmower unlike the Fishbeds, it can get some kills but it really won’t do well. You get bullied by everything, even the Swiss Hunters.
The problem with the MiG-25 isn’t the plane itself but the playstyle it forces everyone to adopt

It’s a solid weapon, people just throw them away when approaching someone who isn’t engaged with anyone else and at max speed and expecting them to work. You have to use them on someone who is like 700-800kph not 1000.
I’ve even been getting an okay amount of kills with 7c recently, just by saving them for the right moment, but those are much harder to use due to needing a near perfect lead and distance.
I find it quite fun having to work for and carefully use these early missiles to get kills rather than point and click 9l.

You might get surprises, at high altitude if you’re flying at supersonic speeds that’s where the AIM-9B becomes quite good
