As a Mirage IIIC enjoyer, it’s insane that my Magic carrier sometimes faces MiG-19s and F-100s. Especially since they can run away from an A-10 but certainly not from a Mirage IIIC.

I usually sling them at the first enemy that I know is flareless and gives me the slightest bit of lock

For me on mig side, it’s still doable when facing a m3c, tuning turns and dogfights etc but 9l is worse for easy lock when 3rd-partying, and hard to approach across the all aspect lock when I have to
