Sorry I don’t understand what you mean by this? Radars don’t have perfect positional accuracy this means you’d have been adding error on top of error? Now the only positional error will be due to the radar.
error only applies to IOG point of interest launch it doesnt apply to locks from other sources.
If you launch on hovering helicopter it will get direct hit.
They added back the 7m error for no reason :/
How to Buff the AMRAAM
・Submit a bug report showing that the PL-12(A) and R-77-1 should have seeker activation ranges of over 20 km, not 16 km.
dw r-77-1 irl is 18km
plus activation range to 20km is actually a nerf compared to 16km cause more warning time = more time to notch
If there’s no way to buff it, the only option is to nerf everything around it and increase its relative strength.

Me when AMRAAM utterly dominated the bracket for the entire year until R-77-1 was added on a single aircraft
me when I lie and omit the fact that amraams were massively nerfed a month after they were added, and have been mid at best since that nerf

Yes, single best fox-3 in the game was nerfed into like second best fox-3 in the game. F-15s collecting 3-4 kills with barely any effort even after that “massive nerf” sure tells about how mid AMRAAM was

It “dominated” for about 3 months whilst people learnt how to properly defend and adjusted to the lower MP height. The moment people learnt how to turn. it became one of the weakest Fox-3s.
Even R-77 was stronger than Aim-120B in most instances because it performs way better at shorter ranges.

R-77 was and still is very good in the right hands however with the proliferation of aesa radars i feel like su27sm isnt as good as when hms shots were the meta
That is just simply the natural progression of the game, let alone the pretty extreme top tier compression.
But yeah. R-77 is a nightmare to deal with at shorter ranges, just dont fire them in HOBS and they’ll outperform Aim-120B in most conditions.

R-77 saved me from so many extreme close ranges aircraft, if an aircraft pops up close to you and you have to go defensive there is not a single missile outside the mica better than r-77.

Me when this is false :
The true king before the r-77-1 was the MICA and it was nowhere close
Now the META has shifted towards more long range, massive jousts, and the 8 short(ish) range MICA aren’t as good as they used to be, but when short range HMS was king, there was not really a discussion
