I don’t even play most of these games, I’m larp maxxing. Only one I play is Genshin, other ones I’m using to troll my some of friends who are actual whales on gacha games (one of them spends 70 percent of his paycheck on wuwa for example)

Newer low smoke propellants have both lower smoke and higher performance over time, this is natural development of stuff. We shouldn’t be seeing so much smoke on the ARH missiles.

a mate of mine grinds every gacha that comes out, i dont know how he does it. i tried playing destiny rising for a while but those devs gated graphics settings so i had to play a mosaic that ran at 30fps on my phone(which was running cool and had plenty of graphics slack).

GEN4.5’s RCS is set to ~2m^2, while F35 is set to ~0.01m^2 and 120’s FoV is set to 12°, instead of 15° like in game. Keep in mind that these ranges are theoretical and in practice are even smaller, for both missiles, but the trend is quite obvious.

First time i see stated that the aim120d is not capable of CEC, do you guys known anything more that seems weird to me.

What even is CEC?

As a layman i understand it as the ability for the weapon to guide through external radars connected by datalink.

I could not find any exact source saying that 120D can be guided with external radars, only could find that 120D has third party guidance which is think means the same

But that guys statement could be right since i have not seen any documents clearly stating that 120D is Link 16 compatible

Edit: Don’t trust my last statement since i am very confused with Link 16 now

I’m not completely sure but I think how it works is
The plane has link16 datalink
That link16 data gets piped to the missile via the radar datalink sidelobes
The missile now has updated guidance coords and communicates via 2 way datalink back

There are some mentions of AWACS/alternate friendly platforms handing guidance to the missile. This may be accomplished by some sort of Link16 handshake and then the jet hands off guidance to something with radar contact with the missile and the target. In the case of the primary platform having to go cold.

I haven’t found any “it has link 16” evidence yet either but what I said above is plausible with a two way datalink.

Just saw this thread and figured since it uses an AMRAAM seeker/warhead I’d plug my bug report for the AMRAAM-ER here. The current rocket motor only factors one type of HPTE into it’s top speed calculation but documentation for the Mk 134 Mod 0 shows that it uses dual-propellant used in a boost-sustainer sequence, bringing it’s top speed up to Mach 4. Currently in game it is only mach 2.
