No, i just replied to someone who claims the TOW 2B is good when in reality its hot garbage.
The game with the most Russian balance be like
When you manage to get atleast 1.0 K/D on game best tank setup
Oh, trust me, Terminator will be the new OP. They’ll be racking up points for Nuke
And what so phenomenal it has ? 4 950 pen missile and APDS from 7.3 ? Yeah no thanks i don’t trust you
I agree having the armor of top tier tanks at 10.3 makes no sense and is completely unbalanced.
It has the armor of top tier russian tanks and you don’t think it should to be top tier lol.
It’s not the fault of Gaijin or other players, if you have no skill to kill this stuff…
It also has the gun and ATGMS of a 9.7. as I previously mentioned:
Nah it will just be a skill check vehicle, like the T-90M. Bad players will struggle against it or will get farmed by it while decent-good players will deal with them easily.
I still can’t believe some people can go negative in the Strv 122s.
It is ahistorical and stupid to put the BMP-T in the Khriz line and not the BMP line. It is NOT a Tank Destroyer.
It was designed to fulfill the same role as the Begleit in combat and, as such, should be the same classification.
So does the Namer.
The Namer is worse at 11.3.
as if its the only time something like this has happened in warthunder
It’s not as blatantly stupid.
The Begleit is a Light Tank and was designed for the same purpose. The BMP line is where the BMP-T belongs. The Terminator was not designed to fight tanks.
Name a 9.7 vehicle with spikes?
Hard disagree.
I just can’t understand point of bmpt without recon. At long range mbt is better. In front engagement mbt is better. You better in flanking but you can’t flank with this mobility. It certainly looks super cool, but I don’t see any decent reasons to take bmpt instead of mbt if it doesn’t have recon feature.
Spikes are rarely useful and are well known to be unfairly BR’d for their abilities within War Thunder. On many maps, you can’t even use them at all. Take Rhein, for instance. Not to mention the Namer only has 4 of them, and they don’t even guarantee damage.
When I stated “Namer”, I was blatantly talking about the main weapon. The 30mm Bushmaster is well regarded as weak, even at a BR of 9.3. The Namer sits at 11.3 with no ammobox, inferior weapons for general use, and inferior armor among dozens of other aspects. It’s anemic. If you can’t sit next to a point, you have no purpose.
You can disagree all you want, but I have the time and effort put into these vehicles. The only way I perform well in the Namer is off scouts alone because 4 spikes isn’t enough to do anything after the first engagements, and the gun performs worse than a 2A42 despite the historical proof against it. Even if the Terminator isn’t better than the Namer, it should be the same BR at minimum.
The woes of being designed for something that doesn’t (currently) exist in War Thunder.
As have I, and they are not hard at all to do well in. I didn’t need to put in a lot of effort to get 1.4-1.5 K/D in both of them. I’d probably do better in them if I would put in more effort.
Terminator should probably be 10.7, but that’s fine for it for release. If it ends up being super overpowered (which I doubt will happen) it can always move to 11.0.
