I just had a game on Abandoned Factory in Conquest mode. The A point was on the “C side” (when you’re in Domination mode) with the railroad track. I was playing US 5.7. Literally everyone went flanking on the opposite side while I found myself alone just next to the objective. The enemy had capped already and had a strong presence around the objective, so I considered it rather a suicide mission to try and cap. I got 5 kills with my Easy 8 before dying (I also clutched a ridiculous 1v2 which I definitely shouldn’t have won because of how many shells I tanked from a Tiger), but everyone was just going on the other flank and dying to a Jagdpanther. We lost because we got nuked, but we would’ve lost anyway on points so… yeah.
I notice that you did not capture a single objective yourself, so . . . .
Hard to push and capture objectives if you’re facing off the enemy team while you team is off doing something else and give no support whatsoever.
I’m not sure on the specifics of your game, but in general there are up to 16 random players (on the one side) with individual daily tasks and special tasks which may not require capturing a zone or winning, and at the time of this post, two battle pass tasks which are about destroying players and not capturing zones or winning games.
Everyone has their own definition of “objective” for their battle. It’s just how the game has evolved.
Edit: and also a very restricted means of communication to a wide variety of different-language speaking people.
Sure, and pretty broad assumptions there . . and so was mine, but like I said . … I see no caps on the scorecard, so . … not real sure what the OP is suggesting really . . lol
Exactly, you can’t really assume that your team mates are going to be on the same page as you very often. I am almost always playing a match with a BP task as my objective, and I rarely accept one that starts with the word “Win” . . . I re-roll those. I’d just rather do the tasks that are based off my actions rather than counting on others to fulfill them for me. And that would actually go along with what the OP may be saying . . . I am not always gonna be your best team mate if you are looking just to win the match . . . . sorry . . . just how it is sometimes
Did you not read the OP properly. He couldn’t without a sure suicide of at least 4 on 1 because none of his team were anywhere near to back him up. It happens no matter whether you play Realistic or Arcade, it happens a hell of a lot. I have been there so many times myself. Some teams have no interest in winning what so ever. All they want is K/D, which on it’s own NEVER won a game.
Learn to read properly
I understand that, but try pushing the entire enemy team on a capture zone in something not designed to tank shots or assault. Without team support it’s impossible, therefore meaning he had to have had no support for taking a cap. A M36 can be one shot by any HEAT or HE filled round, and the M1A3 76’s armor; while not utter shite isn’t tanking shots from a panther, tiger, let alone a Jagd variant of these.
How about a re-cap on what the OP first said.
-
- There was only the 1 zone to take.
-
- None of his team were anywhere near to the zone to help take it.
-
- His team was too busy getting kills instead of winning.
-
- He was the ONLY 1 near the zone.
-
- The enemy had already got a stong presence at the zone.
Then you say you
The team had no intention on winning, and you critisise him from not taking the only zone on the map which is already crawling with enemy - and he is on his own.
I’m starting to think someones shoe size number is higher than the IQ number if they can’t figure that out.
Woah, verbally assaulting someone because they didn’t understand the way I said it the first time isn’t their fault, I explain things in a very southern American way.
I have verbally assaulted no one. If I wanted to verbally abuse you - you would know it. Being a person of my years and with my years of vocabulary, I could verbally abuse you in ways you would not even understand.
It has nothing to do with the way you are speaking, it’s the lack of understanding of what the OP said.
I can’t understand how you can not understand that 1 person can not take a zone that is swarming with enemy and then use that against him to belittle him in front of people on the forum.
And out of my post, that is all you saw. What about the explantion of what the OP actually said instead of you reading something else? Now it’s been explained, do you STILL not understand or comprehend?
10/4; Do your best.
I didn’t “criticize” anyone, I was asking about why no objectives were shown on his Results . . . that’s all
And if anyone is “reading” anything into statements here . . . I’d vote you’re the winner there.
It’s easy to assume a lot of things, but prolly a good idea not to make those assumptions “fact” in your mind without further clarification . . . and that’s all I was trying to get actually
I would rather like to see the chat activity than the number of caps.
And perhaps you were not the only one with this judgement. What did the chat look like?
I don’t think the chat matters much really. What the OP had ALSO said in his 1st post was…
Literally everyone went flanking on the opposite side while I found myself alone just next to the objective.
This was from the very start of the game. I thought he made it quite clear that none of his team were interested in capping from the very beginning. No other team members would have thought it a suicide mission, because none of them wanted to cap in the 1st place, so being a suicide mission wouldn’t have even crossed their mind. If they had tried capping with the OP, they would have evened it up and maybe even taken the zone… but they more or less all ran away in any direction except the direction to capture the objective. I know it happens, i have seen stupid teams do this so many times myself and have been in exactly the same position trying to cap on my own, because from all the years of playing Battlefield 2, 3 and 4, I learnt to play the objective if you want to win.
Me. When I see a stupid team do this, I just 1 death leave because they are not even worth the thousands in rapair bills.
This has been a common issue for a lot of matches now and I suspect it might actually be bots. My theory is that that they’re trying to go to a capture point that does not exist due to the gamemode.
That is why chat matters.
When the chat is oddly silent, I start getting bad vibes…
Not just that. Players often routinely take up position for the 3 cap game. And when they notice “there is no cap”, it is too late. It helps to remind people to go for A. Same as it helps to remind people of fuel during larger operations maps in air.
