Team kills by accident

You clearly saw there was a friendly in the line of fire and still pulled the trigger. That’s on you not them. That is 100% on you.

its the point wwhere the missiles by passed the enemys and even the friendly flarred and it ignored his flares they just need to turn off team killing and it will be better and if i get banned so help me god a Law suit will happen

No you just need to be more careful and check what’s behind your target before firing. Once it leaves the rail, the missile is not your friend. If you fire into a dogfight and kill a friendly you should be punished. You get punished for it in other flight simulators. Why should War Thunder be any different?

Learn some trigger discipline.

Yes it does. It means you don’t fire the missile. You must be too blind to play the game if you didn’t see the friendly in front of him. Check. What’s. Behind. Your. Target. It’s so simple a five year old could understand.

you must not have top tier i have had other team kills where a missile is already fired and a ally is not in the picture then the enemy flares and boom Aim9 decides to go or ally i dont think you understand the term PittBull other wise shut up and get off my fourm post

Okay. I am getting there. I have the F-5E, but guess what. War Thunder is not the only flight simulator out there. I play DCS and have played Falcon. I’m guessing you’re new to simulators or you wouldn’t be making the same ignorant assertion. Yes the missile will lock onto the next thing it sees after passing the flare. Once again trigger discipline. It’s still on you. It will always be on you if your missile kills a friendly. You don’t get a pass. If this was a DCS or Falcon forum, you’d be laughed off the face of the Earth. They’d tell you to go back to…well here.

Since you aren’t going to learn a thing, I will leave you to your stubborn ignorance.

You are not special we deal with that all the time as well. Just think before you do when it comes to Missiles. Don’t launch them so damn far away. If it also actually comes down to it and I don’t personally condone it proceed with executing order sixty-six.

i play DCS as as well and im not new to simulators at all i have the X56 actually my very first Flight simulator game if i recall was either FSX or Fly Aces High 2

I started with Falcon 1.0 and Red Baron.

Amazing that you came up with the idea of spamming IR missiles would be fine when your teammate is literally front of you.

If you don’t know how IR missile works, just go back playing WW2 era jets or early 1950s jets.

Spamming HAHA no

Missile monkey confirmed.

Why don’t you learn how IR missiles work before you whine on forums when it is literally skill issue?

You keep describing an imaginary situation where a friendly flies in front of you at the very last second. But your ACTUAL VIDEO does not show that. It shows a guy that was in front of you plain as day the entire time and you just blindly gunned him down because you’re bad/didn’t care.

You’re trying to make yourself sound better because you know exactly what you did wrong. If you thought the situation in the video was reasonable, you wouldn’t keep pushing a different story in text. Don’t lie to people.

Your not going to get banned but if i was you, be more mind full of using heat seeking missils. Some engines run hotter than others, especially if they reduce throttle. if you dont its going to cost a few wins and lots of SL

Literally the only times this happens, is when you’re being careless with your missiles. It doesn’t happen if you use missiles properly, with the exception of maybe SARH missiles when they hit something you aren’t locked onto, emphasis on the maybe.

Maybe you shouldn’t fire if there is a chance that a friendly could cross paths. Take the L and move on there’s always another chance next match

I can’t count how many times I’m on someone’s six and some premium noob lets an IR missile fly and kills me as I’m gunning down the enemy in front of me.

It literally screams I want to steal kills and not be strategic at all. Same as people shooting missiles at jets burning up and falling from the sky, why waste a missile? Only answer is because you want free points you couldn’t earn. 🤣

I think the Team Kill setting is fine (on any mode, but especially “Realistic” and “Sim” modes) but there does need to be a system to separate the purposeful teamkilling and accidental team kills and that is more likely to happen in higher BRs…

It would be much better if they would setup a different system for VoIP in the game… There should bed a default channel everyone is in and if you want to switch out of the channel, you can - and it should be push-to-talk.

The way it is now you only get VoIP if you’re in a squad and almost no one does that.
