Team killing policy - follow up thread

i agree that teamkilling punishment should be harsher and although i agree with your ideas i think its a bit too much -
teamkilling is sometimes done intentionally for sure but not necessarily, sometimes in props you try to kill someone and your teammate suddenly gets into your line of sight attempting to steal the kill and accidently gets hit by your fire
its not necessarily your fault in this case, and losing 100k for a single accidental team kill seems to be somewhat of a stretch

i would rather say, penalties for teamkills shouldnt change but the ones who are teamkilled should get necessary compensations, like rewarding SL that the teamkiller lost, restoring boosters or wagers if activated any, and not count the death that you have recieved by teamkilling

I would prefer friendly fire to be removed in all modes, even Simulator. There’s nothing worse than having a good match when one of your teammates just sees SOMETHING over there and that something happens to be you.

Gaijin would be strongly against this because squadrons would abuse it, like activating a 500% booster and if you got an uptier or bad match, you would ask your teammate to tk you for you to try again.

Besides, taking rewards away instead of giving extra, is more in line with their motto

And to add, squadrons or experienced players should also have an ultimate remedy to enforce fair play by everyone. Intentional kill stealing, intentional base stealing should be dealt with by the playerbase. If you cannot enforce a very low bar of fairplay, the community is busted.
