Tanks the British Tree could get to help it out just a lil

Boxer FSV, currently 62 are on order for the British army. And the Base vehicle was just introduced into the game. Along side the more standard boxer variant they are already in possession of, with the same turret as the PUMA, to give them a higher tier IFV.

Challenger 1 GBT155R, a Autoloaded 155 mounted on a Challenger 1 hull, with the ability to fire a 3 round burst in 15 seconds.

image

FV201: Essentially a Carnarvon with Slightly worse frontal armor and a 17 pounder, basically a combo of the Centurion MK2 and the Carnarvon.
image

Vickers MkIV: A weird hybrid of a Light tank and a MBT, with a Lightweight aluminum hull, but a steel turret, capable of being outfitted with Chobham armor, That could fit either the L7 105, or a L11 120mm gun.
image

Cheiftain Mk11, Basically a Mk10 Chieftain, but with some engine upgrades, and replacement of the standard night vision, with a TOG’s sight, The same Gen 1 system used on the Challenger 1s.

FV3805: A Centurion based Artillery piece that would just make a great Derp around vehicle, with its 140mm gun, it had a regeared transmission to allow it to actually move so don’t worry about the fact the hulls backwards, and it even has the possibility of getting a 140mm HESH round.

Olifant Mk1B: Essentially the Olifant MK2 like we have in game, but without the Thermal imagers and slower turret traverse, and likely access to M111 only to balance it out some.

That’s odd, ive seen videos of British troops operating IFV spec Boxers, Maybe they were doing training or something.

I like these suggestions. The FV420 would be nice as an event vehicle possibly and the Vickers Mk.4 has been suggested many times. Would love to see that as well

The listed source for them saying the Brits ordered the FSV, is some oddball site that requires a signin… SO yeah probably bull.

yeah highly possibly bull, but current variants that are getting ordered that could make it to wt are the ones above but currently the Cockerill 3105 was already added as an event vehicle and possibly the RCT 30 will make it as a TT depending on how gaijin takes it that germany already ordered them

I just genuinely want a British Variant of the boxer so this can be a Marketplace skin

i forgot there was some variants with the 50 cal RCWS coupled with a javelin

Gaijin will be like “Hey you want some Leopard?”

Now that, is cool. HE slingers are always a ton of fun, and it would be interesting to see one on a Challenger 1 hull

Its Gen 2. Gaijin just takes years to change it.

No, TOG’s Mk1, which is what the Original Challenger 1s and Chieftain mk11 were fitted with, is a First generation thermal Sight.

(Granted the Chieftains had thermals BEFORE the mk11s, But only in VERY Small numbers, But even then they were the Mk1 TOGs system)

Nope. Both Cr 1 and Cr 2 use SPRITE. Just like TIALD and Vickers Mk. 7.
Tornado Gr.4 also used SPRITE in its FLIR, and it was Gen 2 on dev(after being changed from gen1 it had right after addition).
SPRITE falls under Gen 2 in game, and will be changed to it when developers action corresponding reports.

The Chieftain and Challenger 1 literally have near identical TOG’s box on their turrets, just Flipped on different sides. And SOURCE after source i can find online states the Challenger 1s were fitted with TOG’s Mk1, atleast the original Mk2 Variants. Maybe later they were upfitted, but as built they had TOGs Mk1.

And what does it change?

Unfortunately Bri’ish bought just hull of Boxer.
And now they planned to buy turret for it.

Used by australian, not Britain, but through Australia can be added to UK TT.
