Okay, you have your stance on streamers which I respect.
I will use myself as an example. I have a bad K/D but 57% victory ratio in the last month because I prioritise team play, I will put my life on the line to save a stronger or better ally. I don’t selfishly use my team as bait and let them get slaughtered.
Unless they are doing something irredeemably stupid, I will always help
I suppose it depends on what you want to show.
K/D ratio is pretty much worthless if you want to determine how good a player is. The only stat that can be used for that is a combination of win ratio and relative placement.
High win and high relative placement = good player.
High win and low relative placement = shitty player who squad up with good players.
Low win and high relative placement = shitty player who is way too passive and has little influence on the game.
That’s the problem with useless team mates. If most of the team are crap, it still doesn’t matter how good you might be, you will still lose badly, that’s the problem.
As you can’t seem to grasp the simplicity of what’s being said, as an example, you get players using light tanks, but when you go round a corner or peep out from a building or rock… BANG… you dead… because no one is spotting. You carefully approach a zone thinking you had team mates behind you, creep round the corner and… BANG… you dead. Not only is no one spotting, but your back up shit themselves and applied the brakes 50yrds back, while the rest of the team have set up camp, lit a fire, put thier bunk together, and then start taking pot shots.
That is just a little about how team mates let you down and give players false stats of kills and losses. IMO stats mean absolute shit in this game.
Give me a half decent team and i’m not completely useless, normally taking at least 1 zone, and we can win:-
TO HAVE TEAMS THAT GIVE ME THIS IS DEPRESSING… loss after loss after loss.
What??? You are supposed to be a team, it’s all your jobs as standard to cover each other, that’s how a TEAM survives, you don’t understand teamwork one little bit. Until you learn teamwork, you will never, ever understand, so it’s not even worth typing replies to you no more. I gave up hitting my head against brick walls like you years ago.
Have you taken a moment to see if you are not the problem for the team? I know it is psychologically easier for you to shift the blame onto someone else rather than take responsibility for your shortcomings, with this mentality in wt I can assure you that you are in it for a bad time lol rather than expecting others to play the way you want them to play, how about you focus on what you can control? change your playstyle, don’t blindly rush the objective like a headless chicken and then expect others always be ready to cover your ass, perhaps play more defensively and don’t put your life on the line for your teammates to decide whether you should live or die, start heading that way and one day you will find yourself happier and your bank account grows, or you wanted to stay mediocre for a long time then by all means stick to the same mentality and play the blame game instead of improving. When you could kill more, you could earn more lions and rp for yourself instead of relying on teammates (who you have no control over) to decide how much you make in a match.
I have had a couple of occasions where I have found myself not far from the only contested Cap and actually gone for it as a solo effort to find that only as the zone starts to change colour do my so called team mates make a move but I guess if they are low on SP that is understandable.
My point is in some circumstances you can take the lead and get the victory.Using smoke has been key to doing this on a number of occasions and I really don’t know why it’'s not used more often.
Smoke your way to cap and many of your lame teammates may follow or at least shift themselves a bit.
It’s always nice to have the support at the end. Some times the team just needs the shove ,like leadership by example.
Maybe if we were allowed to use all our crew slots instead of being limited by SP the game might open up,I don’t know.
malheureusement ce genre de joueurs au “cerveau limité” est majoritaires et quoi que nous disions ou faisons cela ne changeras pas les comportement idiots et le manque de réflexion des mêmes joueurs il faut juste prendre plaisir a jouer .
*unfortunately this type of “limited brain” players are in the majority and whatever we say or do it will not change the idiotic behavior and lack of reflection of the same players, you just have to enjoy playing.
WTF… I have never said I rush in to the zone and then expect people to cover me. That is entirely YOUR presumption, and my grandad always taught me “Presumption is the mother of all fuck ups”, and guess what you just did… fucked up. I am one of the players who will get as close as I can as quick as I can using COVER. I shoot and then move, because normally when I shoot, the enemy shot too. If I didn’t shoot, while the enemy is reloading I will move to closer cover. Although, even going from cover to cover can be dangerous if the light tankers are not doing thier job and spotting the enemy, because if they do thier job properly, there should be almost no hidden tanks waiting over a hill for you. The only time I go rushing around all over the map, just behind the front line, is when i’m wizzing around in my light tanks SPOTTING for my entire team. I don’t just sit around one area, I am almost always flat out going from one side of the map to another. I just put the cruise control to flat out and just concentrate on steering and spotting, unless I HAVE to stop or turn around of course, I’m not stupid. When you go flat out, the enemy can’t get a range on you properly. When zooming between cover you are going so quick that, before they can even react to fire at you, you’re in cover again. Cover includes hills and slopes. Obviously, it’s not a foolproof method of spotting, but it works a hell of a lot more than it fails. and it works for me.
When you get a team who knows what to do - the game is BLISS to play, In the game below, players didn’t appear in any light tanks, so I did. I spotted 29 enemy and my team killed 14 of them. We won easy.
Spotting is A LOT more important than a lot of players think, and Guijin think. Spotting should be more recognised. In the match below a lot of my team mates spawned in light tanks but refused to spot, even when I asked them to in the chat. When I died, from a 3 against me ambush (because no one was spotting), I respwned as a light tank and told them I’ll show them how to do it. I scouted 51 enemy for them but I did not get a single “Intelligence” award. Despite the team being crap, we managed to pull it back and actually win because I made sure no enemy could sneak up on anyone.
Spotting in games should give more award points and SL than the rubbish we get at the moment
Lol bro the last thing I would do in this site is make assumptions, you have negative KD across all the vehicles your played especially your most played vehicles, I have that kind of record when I was new, it’s either for vehicles that I barely spaded or vehicles that I used to rush caps and gets blown up all the time, then they will still have at least 1.0 but not freaking negative. The reason I look at the record and I encourage you to do so is not to blindly believe whatever people claim on the internet like pigs could fly, or they claims they do something and the record says they didn’t lol it make you blind and your judgement stinks. I could agree that spotting is definitely more important in Realistic but spotting in arcade? And what spotting do you think you do when you barely played any light tanks?
Here we go again, another K/D warrior who thinks K/D determines how good you are… oh dear.
As I have said before, I couldn’t give not one little tiny chip of shit about K/D ratio. I play to try to win, I don’t care one iota if I die without getting a kill and then rage quit. I am quite happy to sacrifice myself to save a stronger team mate if it means I have just helped my team to take a zone or win the game, I DON’T CARE. I’m a TEAM player, not a sit back loner or “Billy No Mates”.
One of the biggest favor you could do for your team, is to take out threats that could potentially harm them, but you didn’t. Capping the point is not the only thing you could do for your team, removing the enemies is one of the best thing you could do for your team, ever troll around with M22 in high tier matches and not die? Because your teammates steamrolling the enemy team, until these is not enough enemy to even harm you, this wouldn’t happen if the entire team consists of players like you that couldn’t kill any enemies.
You called your teammates useless, but your record says you are the useless one who barely contribute on average match lol
“My failures or shortcomings were because of other players, it is they that are inadequate not me, I lost a game? My team was shit. I played perfectly. Ran a red light and crash my car? The other drivers should have seen me coming and stopped. I was justified in running the red light. hehe”
Lots of the arguments here are following the logic of “play the game how I want you to play so it maximizes my fun, I don’t care if you enjoy it or not”
As long as you’re not breaking the rules(TKing, griefing, etc.), play how you want to to have fun and don’t tell others how to enjoy the game
My stats dont seem to have changed in 3 years not by one percent. I don’t get medals unless I achieve the exact amount and my on game stats of top 3 places went from 58% to 36% After I got hit with the Negative GE bug so stats seem to mean shit for some.
Yea, I for one don’t care about stats. Some days Im like, Ok lets have fun do silly things for the joy of it which it ruins my stats… but its fun lol then some days im like, aight Im gonna give it my all which improves stats, carry the team, do the objectives and everything, not just kills…but its tiresome. For some this could be their fun soooo yea, each to their own.
I’m more interested in knowing what someone does in the match when actually trying if I cared about their performance. Then I would judge/criticize or help them with advises if they asked for it.
