Since we got the oplot it would be so cool to have the t84 120 with the oplot the only t series tank with a bustle autoloader i know no really no other country has bought them with the exception of turkey considering them before 2a4 purchase no damn this tank is so unique and cool
Yatagan is variation/mod of Oplot(1999) in singular exemplar in Ukraine. it can be added (because it’s not just paperwork), but surely not for Japan, because it’s only Ukrainian (partly Turkish because of tender), when Japan (for now) have only Thai tanks. So it could be added only in same TT as others Ukraine produced/operated vehicles, but for now there is no Ukraine as Tech tree or sub-tree (only Thai Oplot(2009) and copy of that in China tree as Pakistan)

yeah that’s the problem is sucks the t84 120 rarely got produced and only ever truly 1 was made for testing against m1a2 and newly made 2a6 at the time for turkey but its so unique as as well being able to use NATO rounds but yeah tech that makes sense rn is japan since there will probably never be a ukraine tech tree for obv reasons and should be placed before oplot if ever added
yeah, any KMDB vehicles can be made for export, similar as Rheinmetall (i think) but i don’t think they would make (atleast for now) singular tanks without government order

yeah same problem with oplot thailand operates more oplots then ukraine themselves so i doubt they gonna be massively producing t84 120 all of a sudden sadly :( its such a cool tank
I also want Ukraine vehicles for anybody (except Russian (politicaly) and China (don’t want to research them)), but also i expect for East Europe Tech Tree (Poland, Ukraine, Czech, Slovakia and some others)
because of government order, Ukraine had not enought money for mass produce them for themself (while they have Soviet tanks (T-64s, T-80s, T-72s) mostly maded also by ukranian facilities), they wanted to start tests of “Oplot 2” prototype in 2022 with plans for mass production in 2025 but…, so there’s some problems
yeah turkey need there own subclass t84 120 would definitely suit it for that reason and make complete sense to add it doesn’t make any sense to add ukraine vehicles to china atm imo oplot is fine i guess atm but china already has like so many different varieties including a abrams later
Oplot(2009) that have China (Pakistani one) was different from Oplot-T prototype, but also it was only 1 model, and never get mass produced and never get to Pakistani army, so many players mad about this “Oplot(2009) for China but no VT-4 for Japan”

yeah i think at this point ukraine would rather just buy tanks from other countries atm just like there doing with gripens and rafales atm which is a shame
I want to see more ukrainian vehicles (also Thailand have couple of them), such as Bulat, Yatagan, BTRs and others, but Gaijin doesn’t make clear plans about would they be added or not
because for now it’s cheaper, most of that vehicles are outdated by Europe standarts (because Sweden goes for newer Gripen E, German goes for Leopard 2A8 etc.)
yeah japan needs a lot more variety ground vehicles wise japan its literally the smallest rp nation needed to complete in game currently esp for top tier
Rheinmetall have own plans for cooperation with Ukraine like Leopard Skyranger 35, or produce lines in Ukraine so it would be also cheaper, so Ukraine would have copies of tanks already in game but modified
or unique like also Leopard Skyranger 35
yeah most the top tier mbts in game are still from the 80s to 90s only true modern ish ones are t90m t80bvm type 10 leopard 2a7v and ztz99a which the type 10 is also lacking a modernisation version in game https://www.mod.go.jp/gsdf/dc/cfin/html/img/i227-R6.920.pdf
sky ranger would be cool at mid tier spaa if based on leopard a1a1 hull
Also who knows, but Japan can revision rules about delievering vehicles “in countries at war”
It would be much stronger than Gepard so it can be somewhere between 8.7-9.3
thats if they give it its proper fire rate with airburst rounds hopefully they arent awful and gaijin model them
