yeah with japan’s new prime minister they can now attack any nation in defence of NATO countries
It’s surely must be some of Leopard 1A1 hull variation, most of them anyway were modification of turret, gun or electronics
I hope it will positively affects attack capabilities of vehicles
yeah it would but japan mainly focuses on naval capabilities nearly there whole history for obv reason which sucks because they are no modern naval vessels in war thunder and prob wont be for a long time because the maps would have to be 400km long min for naval in that case and i imagine the engine would literally die trying to process hundreds of anti ship missiles and anti air missiles at once not even including air craft lol

but for sky ranger a wheeled one would be pretty cool for mobility and the guns gonna be crazy op against light vehicles
partly there is, but it’s Rank 4-5 in Coast fleet and 1-2 ranks in Bluewater fleet
It’s turret system, so it can be mounted at anything
Also Dutch one Skyranger 30 with 2 GtA missiles

im talking new new like 2022 since that’s where japan would be best at in game is there Mogami -class stealth frigates with VLS and long range anti ship missiles
many fleets (NATO and Japan) would be much more stronger than russian :)
if you play DCS you know how much they buff naval russian ships so they dont get destroyed in 3 seconds :) lol the Mogami -class use type 17 anti ship missiles with 1500km range
Soviets will get it later on when they add Ukraine.

Jokes apart, in my opinion Yagatan or any other Ukrainian vehicle should be represented under Ukrainian flag, Japan is not a realistic option here since it’s T-84BM Oplot-T is for the Royal Thai Army, and specifically the T-84BM Oplot-T.
that’s the hardest thing because we will probably never get a ukraine tech tree because gaijin:(
Not because of Gaijin but their community. If we’d have a Ukraine tech tree, an standalone tech tree by the next few months or so the amount of people complaining would be very annoying in my perspective.
not only, at least there was Obj. 640 and two “Burlak” prototypes
Tho im a big fan of Yatagan myself so i wish to see it one day.
And it would certainly be great to have all those 3 replace those T-90 and T-72 in USSR top tier lineup.
Strange name for Thai Oplot(2009), officially there are T-84 Oplot (1999) and BM Oplot (2009), no one uses T-84BM variant officially. “BM” is abbreviation for Battle Machine and used like “next-generation” of Oplot
I found funny thing

Looking on Swedish Mi-28 and T-80U there could be a chance
Thailand is the only link to the Oplot, and Thailand has zero link to the Yatagan. If the Yatagan comes, it should come with Ukraine or Turkey (or both).
Pretty sure it was just an offer, no trials. Mi-28 and T 80 U were both trialed.
@Rei_Garreter pretty sure that was the Object 478DU8, which is closer to the T-84 zr 1999 as it was one of the prototypes.
Also Oplot(1999) was tested in Malaysia, so it can be some early model for Japan TT
Yeah, it is
