im bored farming the new star for event lol
Maybe? It’s underperforming.
Horrendously.
Type 10 is not under-performing in the slightest.
In-game it accelerates 3 seconds faster than the fastest known footage, and that’s with a level 0 crew.
There’s no way you’re serious.
It has awful acceleration — easily one of the worst among top-tier MBTs — despite having the best transmission.
Its turning is absolutely abysmal, worse than anything else at the same BR (and EVERY MBT undeperforms in this department, BTW…).
The Type 90 is straight-up more mobile than the Type 10.
What are you even talking about?
@seraphiinebyte
T-80U over-performs in acceleration in-game by double its IRL acceleration speed.
Type 10 isn’t under-performing, all other tanks are over-performing, with the worst offenders being tanks like Centurion.
Type 90 is heavily over-performing in acceleration as well, this is well known.
Turning is a separate issue, my posts are only talking about acceleration.
This acceleration is slower than in-game:
Alright then, humor me: how did you calculate that?
Show me the tests—or whatever methods—you used to assess that claim.
I’d like to reproduce them myself and see the results firsthand
I frame counted an estimated 5 tank lengths in DaVinci resolve. That gave a time.
I set my tank 5 tank lengths away from the T-10M I believe, as flat as possible, and I recorded a video where I accelerate and hit the T-10M.
Type 90 was like ~6 seconds faster in-game than IRL.
And Type 10 was ~2 seconds faster in-game than IRL.
Level 0 crews.
I tried searching for my previous post with the actual test data, but it appears I forgot the search terms I need to find it.
5 tank lengths was used because that was the maximum amount of length you can see in the live video with both standing still.
Then you mark the ground and wait for each tank to hit the mark.
But yeah, out of all tanks in-game, the only two modern main battle tanks that have a solid argument for not over-performing by much is Type 10 and Leclerc.
Everything else is notably over-performing to known information.
Tell you what,
I’ll be home in like, five or so hours.
If you could (and feel like) search for your test data, then I’d really appreciate it.
Otherwise, I’ll go ahead and try it myself.
I’ll come back with the results, you may hold me up to it.
Sounds fair?
Just remember to note whether the in-game tests are crewed, and at what crew training if you do test drive them when equipped to crews.
Dunno where my post is, and I’m too tired.
Funny enough is Type 10 with a level 0 or maxed level non-expert crew should be slower than the video by Nameless, as all tanks should be slower than their IRL accelerations unless at least expert crewed.
Take off your crown man
is the jaguar any good? I love how it looks so now im grinding to it
I haven’t used it myself, but its missile seemed more consistent than the Spike (or I just got hit by its missile working on a good day). Was the one thing I had to keep watch on when I was rampaging in the BMPT before the BR change. It does look beastly, though. Gotta get around to unlocking it.
Tbh, have unlocked everything in Swedish and US tech trees (some of the newer mid-ish BR stuff I don’t have) - and currently at 13.0 in Air in USSR and 11.7 in Ground.
The difference in performance both in air and ground is a joke, comparing BRs with other countries - both those I don’t have and those I do have. The T72-B3 at 11.7, even without the UBH upgrade is a 12.7 vehicle (once again, comparing both what I’m facing as my three nations and what I’ve played against). Now they’re adding a better one??? At 11.0. HAHAHAHA, the developers really hate other countries - and this is exactly why I switched to USSR in WT. The sooner you realize that this isn’t a single “Oopsie”, and that since 10.0 started - the bias is blatant and unapologetic. Every NATO ammunition, weapon and vehicle (barring french air at top tier) is severely hampered next to USSR.
Expect it to come out at 11.0 - you’ll see USSR mains here that don’t play other countries, or only focus on USSR, scream that it’s fair and balanced… that it’s a sidegrade, or worse than the T72-B3…
I mean, the T72-B3 is already too powerful for it’s BR - it should sit at a minimum at 12.0.
This new one is going to destroy everything at anything less than 11.7 - and even up to 12.7 it’s going to be damn good.
Even the T90A is amazing at 12.7… (think my best run in one life with the T90A was 9 kills - against 12.7 - obviously not all vehicles killed were 12.7, but most). Sadly, this wasn’t skill on my part - just raw vehicle performance in this game, I do not generally reach kills this high with Sweden or US, as all their vehicles are made out of paper and any hit means the vehicle is both stationary and cannot shoot… Not so with russian one’s in WT (though we do know reality, but this game isn’t).
My honest recommendation, stop playing other nations if you want to be competitive and play Russia - honestly, it will feel like cheating once you hit 10.3 (it was such a long time - at least 7 years I think since I played below that BR - so below 10.0 I can’t really comment) and up… but if you look at the player base, nearly everyone plays russia… And this is why, it’s SO easy.
You say all this, but your recent sessions in USSR show that you’re average just over 1KDR in a Soviet MBT. I thought it was easy? Where’s your 2-6KDR? Did you feel like you were cheating averaging… average?
Do you have any other overstated lies?
If you play the game well and have some luck, getting 8 or 9 kills without dying is normal. I used an 8.3 br Falcon against 11.7 br, also took down 9 enemies in a single run. I also still effectively use the Challenger 1 series at 12.7. Do these things I’ve mentioned make these vehicles op?
No, but it makes you an mediocre player.
Being able to play like this with one of the top 3 tanks in the game (Strv122+) makes you someone who doesn’t know any better.
And im not ru main.
All high rank soviet MBTs on paper weak, but true in-game feeling different than it supposed to be. The reason why people say USSR is op because mythical survivability happens often rather than exception. Personally I have many moments when “somehow” that “weak” survived in case it shouldn’t. In additional, Ground battles including aviation and helicopters that reinforce “weak” USSR. If that Arena will play uptier at 10.0-10.3 I feel sorry about helicopter gameplay against. People love USSR for it’s miraculous armor and simple aviation, battles gonna be full of Arena, just this APS will ruin already hard helicopter gameplay at 10.3+
Shtora on the T-90M is just LWS, which doesn’t substitute for having actual hard-kill APS.
T-90A’s Red Eyes barely does anything to modern ATGMs anyway since most have IRCCM.
It sure does. Most of the ATGMs shot to T-90A and T-90M are weak to Shtora exposure ingame.
ANd the APS with limited angles, but with better chances of shooting down more modern ammunition, seems as fair trade to me. If anything, this APS is not even close to Iron Fist on Challengers, so its almost like it has no APS at all anyway.
No, on paper they are strong, and ingame they are weak AF as their weak spots are unchanged since 9.3, and each shot breaks something important. Plus up until T-80BVM and T-72B3UBH they have most utterly slow aim speed. Not even mentioning other cons that are classic arguments.
“Weak” ussr is myth. “Weak” ussr GROUND is fact.
Personally, being a victim and seing the helicopters at their release. I dont care if helicopters wont be able to play. No, not like that. I BEG they were as hard to play as this. Them deserve it after what they done. But in reality, most probably the APS would be as useless as on 80UM1.

Shtora can’t jam tow-2s, BILLs, Russian/chinese laser guided ATGMs and spikes which are the main ground launched ATGMs at that BR.
Is it really? Last time i checked at the training grounds, the TOW-2 rockets were easlly slammed to the ground with it. Same with BMP-2Ms tandem rockets. Cant say about BILL as i dont own one.
