It feels like it could quite happily sit at 8.7, higher would be hard to justify with no stab, composite or any sort of rangefinder.
It’s one of those vehicles which is an absolute sod to balance.
It is excellent at killing bmpts though.
Curious as to how the rest of the us 8.3 vehicles compare with their win rates as 8.3 us is very good (m60 aos my beloved)
Its not great at distance, but its easily 9.0 material in any city fight. And 2/3 of the maps have significant city components. Considering other situational tanks like the strv103c sit at 9.0, i could easily see it at 9.0.

Because people don’t take their time to look where the weak points are at most tanks can pen the turret next to the mantle or the mantle it self and take out one-two crew members or the gun breach or even both most tanks have good heat too pen the turret next to the mantle and the mantle itself place the shot good enough it can take out all three. the type of tanks that would suffer would be 100mm and lower especially if they don’t have heat rounds or sufficient penetration but most 7.7-8.7 tanks do

Pure fantasy. People know the weak points, but they are small. Much smaller than the chieftan 3/5, which is the best comparable vehicle. The reason its OP is because it has a reload rate that puts it in a league of its own. 3 shots by the time an enemy reloads. And lets be honest, its pretty good at 1-shotting just about anything.

i just want the BMPT to go to 11.0 BUT IT MUST GET APFSDS before that up-teir. and if it moves to 11.3, it must get the ATGM it’s SUPPOSED to have, 11.7/12.0 it should get the extra ERA blocks it can be fitted with (like on the T90M/T80BVM/T72B3)

You mean when it was facing like the bvm and t90a both of which it couldn’t really penetrate through and had zero supporting elements in its lineup, playing almost entirely in a meta where armor was the most important factor due to the extremely small size of maps? Why yes I do it was miserable.

I mean the type 90 is basically a smaller L2A4 with DM-33 defiantly the equal for the L2A6 with DM-53 with that 4 sec auto loader! (and it didn’t even have the 4 sec reload at when the T-90A and L2A6 where added!)
God I remember trying to argue with people that they were not in fact top tier tanks because of a five second reload, especially considering you were not going to be alive in the next five seconds lol.
Yeah, it was painful trying to point out to people that being able to bounce rounds of a T-90A or L2A6 faster wasn’t particularly helpful.

Im a US main and yet i say its should be nerfed,its not possible that ONLY THAT tank can one tap ANY tank just by shooting a pixel of the track (Which its why it has a high kd in combo with being an autoloader)
And best part of type 90’s nerfing on 11,7 was that they really dominated 11.3.
And what did happen, soon after that every 11.7 mbt got moved to 12.0-12.7 , but so convinient, that type 90’s remained on 11.7.
