T58s performance stats have gone from great to absurd

So here we are 3 months after the T58 release. The tank came out and everyone called it OP. The tank performed well but as the months have gone on it has been steadily getting better and better stats. Statshark has it at 2.3kdr and almost 60% wr. Thats the 2nd highest KDR AND WR of any non-event vehicle, with only the BMP-T being better. But the BMP-T got an upteir in days with its stats still correcting from that. At this point, one BR jump may not even be enough considering how well it perforrms in 9.x gameplay. Any TT vehicle would have been upteired by now.

Maybe they nerf it in year after people stop buying it.

As long as it isn’t a ru vehicle then most people are ok with it bro

Or better yet - make all HESH perform as well as that on the T58 overpressure-wise. Test-driving the T58 (as I don’t own it) and purposely aiming at the target IT-1 where overpressure can’t happen shows the actual HESH effect is just as weak and inconsistent as any other HESH round.

90mm HESH would still be mostly unable to overpressure a lot of things, given we don’t see the likes of 122mm HE doing such outside the lowest tiers with the SU-122 meme assault gun. 100mm HESH from the Lancia 3Ro 100/17 would become even funnier. 120mm HESH would finally become devastating and give the poor Conqueror breathing room to function with an actually functional shell. And of course the likes of the AVRE, CEV, and Barn would become near-guaranteed “instakill if it hits anywhere” (which frankly those things should be).

90mm hesh should be performing slighly better than 90mm HE. The internal spalling should be adding fragmentation effects in addition to overpressure. However, its still 90mm HE at the end of the day.

That being said, 120mm hesh should be viable, but isn’t. 6.5kg explosive should be able to both overpressure and/or spall most T55/62/72 tanks rather easily. Instead, it acts like a 4kg HE charge. Inconsisent, often no effect, rare overpressure, and no spalling.

its the only tank where HESH is viable, and its not even with the country known for squashhead shells.

(btw that shell is likely still underperforming lol)

Remember how the Type 90 had to be up tiered over tanks that where superior in every way but Type 90 had a 4 sec auto loader so it was obviously OP despite a bad round and zero armour? Or how about all the crying about the T-80 autoloader buff? what happened to the “just shoot the weak spot bro” used to defend this thing?

M829 equivalent is not bad, top tier Abrams and Leopard 2 literally start with those and they are some of the easiest vehicles to spade. But can’t beat what Merkavas 4 are getting lol M322 stock like wtf

Shhh, we don’t talk about non-USSR vehicles overperforming.

It makes no sense.
The 183mm HESH is a shell twice the weight and with more filler and yet it can’t overpressure kill like the 155mm HESH.

almost like there is an incentive to keep a good selling premium overperforming

There’s nothing better for sales than adding an overpowered premium vehicle, so the devs won’t touch anything for the time being, at least as long as it sells well.

You forgot that one of them isn’t premium bro

It feels like it could quite happily sit at 8.7, higher would be hard to justify with no stab, composite or any sort of rangefinder.

It’s one of those vehicles which is an absolute sod to balance.

It is excellent at killing bmpts though.

Curious as to how the rest of the us 8.3 vehicles compare with their win rates as 8.3 us is very good (m60 aos my beloved)

Its not great at distance, but its easily 9.0 material in any city fight. And 2/3 of the maps have significant city components. Considering other situational tanks like the strv103c sit at 9.0, i could easily see it at 9.0.

Nah but russian bias clearly

thats the tech tree one played by experienced people. premium one is a far better comparison and its worse than the t58

Because people don’t take their time to look where the weak points are at most tanks can pen the turret next to the mantle or the mantle it self and take out one-two crew members or the gun breach or even both most tanks have good heat too pen the turret next to the mantle and the mantle itself place the shot good enough it can take out all three. the type of tanks that would suffer would be 100mm and lower especially if they don’t have heat rounds or sufficient penetration but most 7.7-8.7 tanks do

It’s a premium. They don’t care as long as they bait people into buying it…
