Why is the t44 and t44 100 such a high br? t44 with the 85mil does not deserve 6.7. The t44 100 could be 6.7, giving russia a lineup to avoid 8.0

Because both are great tanks. And yes the 85mm definitely deserves 6.7 after they uptiered a shit ton of post war tanks, but even before that it was still good.
You are proposing to make a balanced vehicle overpowered.

The 85 is workable at 6.7. You just cant do head to head brawls with some tanks. I try to focus on flanking with the t44 and I can find good results, depending on the map.

The t44 100 is an awesome tank and i can understand 7.0 but the t44 85 just seems odd at 6.7, it doesnt get good apcr

Speedy boi, speedy turret turning rate, speedy reload, better post-pen damage due to the amount of explosive filler. But yeah, there are a lot of things it faces at that br that it cannot pen frontally, it’s generally doing much better with ambush tactic.

Mistake #1 is considering apcr, especially on a russian tank. The aphe is what you should be using. Dont fight a tiger 2h head-on. Get a little on their flank and you will pen their turret easy.
Do not judge it on its ability to head-on brawl those heavies.

T44-100 is ok, T-44 85mm would be better at 6.3 but not too concerned. It works at 6.7, just gotta avoid head ons

thats fair, I didnt really factor in their speed. It just seems odd to see the 85mm on such a high br tank. The t44 100 is just so much better for .3 br

I was more pointing out the 85, probably should have left the 100 out of it. I more brought the 100 into it like some tanks “could” be a little lower and be fine

They are not german thats why. Meaning german mains can’t use them so they have good stats, despite being overbr’ed. Funny thing I recall gaijin saying moving the t44-100 from 7.0 down to 6.7 would be controversial, meanwhile they moved the leopard 1 no word given

There is a difference between moving a good tank up, and moving a good tank down. The T-44-100s turret is super trolly, and it has a solid gun too.
Leo one being at 8.0 is essentially the same as it being 7.7 because the BR changes moved a lot of 7.0+ stuff around. And its still decent at 8.0 too.
leo was 7.7, one of the best of that time. They called the t44-100 going down controversial, but not the leopard… you kidding me
Leopard is a waste of time now as expected, it went from a k/d of 1.8, which was nothing special to begin with, and has now dropped to 1.1, which is bad, but no one should be surprised by adding a vehicle without APFSDS, without thermals, stabilizer, armor or anything else of value to 8.0.

People were asking for the leopard to go up, but no one was asking for the T-44-100 to go down.
The leo was too good for 7.3, so it was going to 7.7. The only reason it went to 8.0 was because of the huge decompression around 7.3-7.7 which moved most 7.3-8.7 vehicles up by .3 BRs.
