I will try to be constructive, but, basically:
1- Dimensions. The 62 ton tank is significantly larger in size due to:
-Manual loader (extra crew member) requiring additional space.
-Blowout panel safe ammo racks (except in CR2s) taking up way more space as well.
-More emphasis on crew ergonomycs.
-Larger powerplants with more bigger and complex transmissions (allowing to reverse and neutral steer, for example).
2- Armor style. Since the tank is significantly larger, it needs a more efficient way to cover a larger surface area with effective-enough armor. Thus, advanced composite armors are used in an attempt at making the protection/weight ratio efficient.
On the other hand, Russian tanks:
-Have no blowout panels.
-Have no separate ammo storages.
-Are overall smaller due to having one less crew member to fit in.
-Do not care about crew ergonomycs at all.
-Have tremendously simple transmissions (with all of the disadvantages).
-Since their front surface area is way smaller than NATO tanks’, they don’t need to rely on advanced composite modules to cover larger areas without becoming too heavy; instead, they are just a thick bunch of sloped RHA plates that, in proportion, are significantly less weight-efficient than NATO tanks’ composite modules.
-However, even that would be insufficient on itself, providing equal or less protection values than NATO tanks’ composites; the only reason why their tanks have functional protection levels it’s because they are coated on heavy ERA specifically designed against kinetic threats and which are one-use only. Once you hit a T-90M’s ERA and it’s gone, it becomes just a T-72 that can be easily penetrated on the now ERA-less area, while the composite armor of NATO tanks will retain their effectiveness after multiple hits.
So from the perspective of a German Main:
The Americans are already cannon fodder.
Similar to the French, British, Italians and Israelis.
In my opinion, only the three trees Sweden, Germany and Russia are equal.
Sweden and Germany have the best tanks and if Russia has built up enough SPs for their CAS, that’s where the advantage lies.
Most recently I played in a match with 16 Leos. 10 Leo 2A7V, 2 PL and 4 122BS+.
The enemy, which consisted of Russians and two Brits, didn’t even get a plane into the air.

The only ammo I’ve had a skill issue hitting is T-72B3’s.
And the only time I don’t pen side armor is cause I missed the side armor of tanks and hit their roof armor, or tracks, a universal trait of all MBTs.
That armor is total bullshit it can eat so many shells in ease, no side armor should be like that.
If you are pointing out my personal stats. I refuse to play Russia, when I do, I play carelessly with the goal of losing the game. I don’t try to do good in Russia, unlike many people I don’t go along with the META nation. I also have Germany leo7 with 290 deaths to 800+ kills and I barely touch that tank. I take the turms to top tier just fo the heck of it. I hope that explains why is a 1/1 kd ratio.
