I find them incredibly inconstant to fight with L23 or L23A1, like most soviet MBTs at and around that BR, they have waaaaay to great of an ability to just ignore hits that should have killed them. I truly do think that every single soviet MBT needs deleting and starting again. This time was far more universal standards for things like how ERA is modeled, etc
Sorry what ? L23A1 usually passes clean through em bar thr 80UD cause its an 11.7 tanks armour at 10.3
I find that L23A1 vs LFP can sometimes only kill the driver and nothing else and one to the gunbreach might disable it. I have had more than a few just have the gunbreach turn yellow with a direct hit
The gun breach stuff is universal man, i fired the ofher day through the leo2a5 breach spot with an abrams and it went yellow.

The LFP shot that can happen due to spall direction, best shot is usually the turret ring
Yeah, I hear a lot of people say “aim for the turret ring” but whenever I do, its 100% non-pen. So I just dont anymore. I really dont understand why people recommend aiming for the turret ring. Thats not just the T-72 but Abrams as well
Jesus christ bros really have trouble killing a well-dressed T-72A at 10.3? I understand if it’s T-72B/T-80UD, and the ERAs on the TURMS don’t offer KE protection bro and who use HEATFS except for stock tanks. Only redeeming quality of TURMS is the superior FCS, not the armor because it has none at 10.3, it sucks if people don’t utilize the FCS and choose to brawl like the uparmored versions lol
So why does the ERA block L23A1/L26?

That’s becuase you’re likely.not hitting the shot trap which is the turret ring.
Not to mention how many times they block my Tandem Charged missiles from my light tanks. Even the BMP-2M’s 1,200 amor pen wuder tandems get brushed off by the the TURMS-T’s ERA sometimes, which shouldn’t be possible imo.
So, I will usually fire off all 4x of the BMP-2M’s missiles, and even then sometimes they survive with hardly a scratch.
As a side note, I have ZERO issues burning through the T-80UD’s, at any angle, through any part of the tank, even with the BMD’s tandems with “only” 750mm of pen.
And even the CV 90105’s tandems with their “very low” armor pen of 550mm can deal with the T-80UD’s in my experiences.
There is something exceptionally wonky with the TURMS-T’s ERA blocks.
My conclusion: the TURMS-T is fine where it is. If it goes down at all it will only become oppressive.
What ? The ERA provides 5mm of kinetic protection, it literally does not stop L23A1 at all.

Thats just Tandem being universally being broken vs ERA at the moment. It just straight up doesnt work and ahsnt in like a year
L26 is going clean through TURMS’ UFP.
Yeah the era on the Cr2 F saved me a few times.
I have never ever managed to kill a TURMS by firing at the UFP. I always aim for the LFP because otherwise its a guranteed non-pen.
I have no idea what I could possibly be doing wrong then.

l26 does cut clean through it like butter and L23A1 stoll has a high chance to UFP.
