There’s no need for every nation to have a naval tree. Though a lack of any armed helicopters would be a hindrance to Swiss ground forces, I still think Swiss air and ground trees would be worthwhile. With or without Austria as a subtree.

Swiss EKW could be on Sweden Rank II attacker tbh. I know you want the tree of its own, but it’s too impractical. Just… Just not a new tree. The Plane in Swedish tree can get the Swiss flag and hopefully new voice lines, at best. I’d rather have the vehicles, but not a tech tree with only 1 or 2 indigenous designs. They didn’t even release a Benelux tree, and the Dutch aircraft are on different trees at this point. I actually think they should make a Benelux tree, but damn, swiss is a neutral country with next to no original vehicles. I know I offended some of you by saying “no original designs” but damn, you can’t just make an Israel tree with no jets.
This is my first comment ever on the forums but holy saying we have no original designs is so wrong.

that is true, but not enough for a stand alone tech tree
for example here the official statement regarding Benelux, which would have been more likely for a stand alone
The swiss military could be a TT if you just look at the tanks, but its very lacking in Air and Helicopters, my Opinion would be give it to france, we have many connections whit them, our main goverment building is near the french side, the french are very lacking in ground because they mostly have imports so its pretty much 90% copy and paste, the swiss could at least fill it up to 11.0. It should not go to germany because its already very big, and i am both a german and french player so i shouldnt have any bias. edit: looking back its more 40% Copy and paste but its still too much.

and wont happen that it goes to france anymore, france already has to much stuff, the indiginous swiss vehicles were already added to germany so thats the big indicator
btw france and germany have both the same amount of possible additions and development project.
The only reason germany has more in the game is because germany exists longer in the game then france for ground. And that doesnt play into where a subtree should go. Switzerland even would adress a lot of the german problems

I would argue that switzerland does have enough unique tanks, this is very subjective in my opinion.
Sadly it does seem as if gaijin wants to add switzerland to germany probally because of money.
Just to add, regarding helicopters, since we are a neutral country we never focused on ATG missiles like Hellfires and Vikhirs, so that already would be a problem since we arent adding anything there.
And regarding Air, in my knowledge the only ones that could be added are the Hornet, Hunter (already added), Vampire, and the BF109 so we dont have anything there.
Also i dont know about the whole Benelux thing so i might be to stupid to argue about this.

more likely because most modern stuff is just heavily german as well and developed by them or has closer ties to germany
that wouldnt be to much of a problem half of swedens heli tree is fantasy as well
switzerland specialy would help out in the cold war era air where germany is poor.
Switzerland has additional F-5s as well as Mirages that can be added

Well, whether Swiss vehicles should go to the French or German tree has been discussed up and down already in the WT forums, already the old one IIRC.
Usually you can spot what part of Switzerland one is from by looking at their preference of French or German tree for Switzerland…

Yeah, it is on the german side, seems like I made a mistake sorry.
Maybe I just have a french bias since I would rather want it to have it in that TT. (i am from the german side tho)
I just want the Autocannons and the rat vehicles and be a tiny gremlin.
i mean as you said u got both german and french trees, you can just do that just as well with the german tree, combine it with the OG rat wiesel

Germans second subtee being austria… lets be honest austria just might as well be luxembourg or lichtenstein.
Spain would give france even more leopards uparmored once F/A 18s, eurofighters etc
Equality wise greece for germany would be nice for germany as the second subtree.
You know both getting rafale and eurofighter in the end and so on
Republic of Ireland might object to being with the UK, but they barely have a military anyway.
Sure makes sense historically to have Austria in Germany. Liechtenstein has no army. Luxembourg not too much more…
Nothing that can be done about BeNeLux anymore.
As to Spain, where else would it better go?
Italy? Italy already has a large potential pool for subtrees which are partially already implemented, more from that region could fit as well.
Also, I think Spain has also quite little potential for unique vehicles.
