I started grinding sweden top tier and ive looked into it 14.3 while other nations have 14.7 it really worried me that the top tier sucks and i need info if it is good
also what should i unlock on rank 6th air cs idk if i just should stick with the saab 105 till rank 7
I dont play Sweden but Ive fought against it quite a few times and have chatted to a few about it
Gripen E is a solid aircraft both IRL and in-game, but in-game it has a number of handicaps caused by things not being modeled, like EW which is one of its core strengths. It also has a massive CM Count which is artificially nerfed because “reasons”. Let alone the state of Aim-9M and AMRAAM when fighting Su-30SM2s and Rafales
It could get a lot better in the future, it might not, but at the moment its one of the better 14.3s but not 14.7 worthy
Though, it was never designed to go 100% toe to toe with the Typhoon and Rafale, instead SAAB built it to be a budget option compared to the other 2, for nations that didnt want the large investment for either / wanting something F-16 like that isnt american. So its intentionally not going to be totally onpar with everything else because IRL you could have 2x Gripen Es for 1x Typhoon for example
Im sincerley thankfull of this answer but what about the 6th rank? idk if these planes are worthy to play the j32b lansen interest me most with the 4 rockets and afterburner is he good?

I dont actually play Sweden, ive just fought against the Gripen E a few times, flown the Gripen C via South Afirca Sub-TT and Have chatted with Swedish mains about it. Plus just some good old common sense.
So lower BRs, Id leave for someone else to comment on at the moment, especially as I dont play those BRs much anyway, so dont really have experience fighting them either
also i know u played britain why at 9.7 hunter gets those 20g rockets they seem good while the j32b lansen 0.3 br lower get the aim 9b
i mean the lansen gets a after burner and a double radar but it seems not close to the hunter since his rockets can easily kill the lansen while it has no countermeasures
Compression, 9.0-9.7 is stupidly compressed and really doesnt make much sense no matter what you try to compare. Until such time they decompress, that BR range will never be balanced. Though the SRAAMs only recently got decent, they spent years being truly terrible, maybe the worst IR Missiles of that BR.
Like French Hunter F6 with 2x Aim-9Bs is the same BR as the Hunter FGA9 and Hunter F58 with Aim-9Es and better engines. But the Hunter F6 cannot go down and the FGA9 and F58 cannot go up.
why wont they make like top tier 16.0 and decompress everything? sorry im new to air idk if this question is stupid
Yeah… no one knows.
They recently moved the F-15As and J down to 12.7 instead of moving the offenders up and just increased compression at an already compressed BR.
I think in the Q&A they basically said they dont want to decompress because it would increase queue times or something stupid like that

Id say air is the least problematic with the exception of a few BRs. So its the most managable

ground is far more better because it matters about skill not brs in tanks u can still make something good a nuke but in planes… i imagine what it will be in 9.3 when i get uptiered to 10.3 when they got flares better engines better agility better rockets better guns
