As the title explains Sweden should also recieve Gripen C.
As we saw in the past how similiar situation occured on Us F-16 where Gaijin refused to add F-16 with similiar capabilites to USA and how it ended.
İn this case in order prevent similiar situation Gaijin should change A model Gripen to C model.
The fact Sweden’s top tier fighter will be lacking something as intrinsic to current top tier fighting as HMD is ridiculous when the same airframe, just better, will be in another nations tree. I see no reason why Sweden should receive the A model instead of the C model if that’s going to be the only difference in game. If that isn’t going to be the only difference in game, why is Britain receiving a more advanced version of the JAS39?

C model also gets better avionics,better RWR and more hardpoints for ground ordinance.
So the gap is even bigger in this case.
No reasonable decision not to give the C to Sweden outside of being pricks. Britain arguably should have gotten the C next update after Sweden got it this update, but if they’re going to give it to Britain this update, it should have at least gone to Sweden too.
The Swedish toptier outclassed by a plane made for Sweden in another tree is incredibly unreasonable.

Completely agree. I don’t know why Gaijin seems to like giving the country of origin of a new jet its worst version (if not THE worst, one of the worst). I have no idea why Sweden gets the A version and the UK gets the C, if anything both should receive the C. As Kiwi said, the Gripen A will be going against F-16Cs with HMD, MiG-29s with HMDs, Gripen Cs with HMDs, SU-27 loaded with R-73s and R-27s, probably with HMD too, so why in all the hells does Sweden get the A version with no HMDs and 6 Sidewinders, LMAO this is just a sick joke, there’s no other explanation.
That is just absurd if it is modeled that way in game, UK already have great options for CAS whereas Sweden has the mediocre AJS37
So Sweden getting a worse Gripen, and a worse GROUND ATTACK gripen on top of it is just an insult.
This is honestly insulting having us wait an entire year, an entire year being vastly inferior to the competition only for us to get the worse Gripen. Sweden is getting the worst gripen…

Sweden should get BOTH the A AND C versions. Sweden is severely lacking in top tier jets and there is absolutely no reason to not give Sweden an A at like 12.0 and a C at like 12.7 (or something like that).
