The devs could spend this time to work on more important things. I dont understand why they should rework the all game for about 50 cas-haters who do not want to adapt their play. Instead for example they could rework ARB and make it attrative for strikers/bombers, thus cas-lovers would likely go there more often and give a break to cas-haters.
The way GRB is right now with multi-type battles was the main purpose of war thunder when the devs decided to update from birds of steel. IMO it shouldnt change, it is the choatic and immersive and it is what made wt so popular.
If these 50 players want to play their own way they can start learning CDK. I know they are going to take it as an offense like when experienced players here are trying desperately to give them tips about how to counter CAS. They dont want to make any effort even to accept the rules of the game as it has ever been.
These people are the same who will try to tweak the votes and wreak havoc when their favorite candidate is not elected as president by the majority, and then claim there are frauds blablabla. Same pattern…

That is what I mean, the rest are playing the game as it is and try to adjust to the difficulty. So this poll is not representative of anything and I doubt the devs will even hear about it.
What I am sure of is that if the poll says majority of voters say yes to no cas then they will use it to support their point. If it says otherwise they will deny the results of the poll and they will say things like the votes are tweaked.
I think one of the reasons for this growing demand for NO CAS gameplay is because of Gaijin’s strategy to attract new players.
I’m sure many players like me started with other MMO tank games and were interested in WT’s “realistic” gameplay.
And WT’s big rival has a game mode without CAS, and that’s what players from the rival want to find in WT, for some of them at least.
They looke for “THE” game, when they’re alone against a full team, destroyed all enemy tanks only with skill, win duel and escape from embush, be in the good way to save the game for your team …
And all of this effort to be OS by a plane which come from nowhere and which destroyed your efforts, your game, your mood and may be a part of your day if you was more than 100% in.
To me, now that Gaijin has a good portion of its player base from rival games, they need to meet their demand.

So we have your hypothetical scenario with zero evidence, and we’ve polls that results have 50-50 split, and your conclusion is that majority of GRB players wants CAS.

So is gun SPAA effective against guided ammo from air vechicles? No.
So is open top SPAA effective against unguided weaponary that doesn’t need to hit it in order to destroy it? No.
And please, spare me the talk about people who can’t use the weaponary.
