Pretty much. They would have different metas, different optimal tactics and spawn choices, even different lineups worth bringing, and because both would have more dedicated players, they would also be more competitive.

That is why I’m always happy when someone suggests something different from the same modes I have been playing since the addition of GF.

It might be a game changer for nations like the UK who not only have to endure solid shot early on but few roof mounted MGs and poor SPAA in WW2 eras. We could say goodbye to the ystervark:)

The player base is fine when Gaijin run silly parallel sci fi games as and when they feel like it and a CAS free game mode could see a stampede of returning players who bailed over the years from CAS overload.
We have a night games opt out just implemented remember so tell me again how it wont work.
Night game opt out /CAS opt out same thing.

GRB doesn’t have 200k players and splitting 200k players would also be stupid even if that WAS the number.
I was talking about overall number, not GRB one.
Then again, option like with night battles could be a good start to check what playerbase really wants.

Temporary, very time limited, very much SIDE content that the MAJORITY doesn’t interact with 24/7 when it’s on. You’re asking to permanently divide the GRB (and possibly sim? arcade?) playerbase into two camps.

So many over the years, many players have stomped off and left WT and if there is a whiff of a chance of some coming back then its a bonus and I bet if I asked you to put serious money on it not happening your so sure ass would drop out.
