What would you guys think about adding another level of premium account to the game: Supper Premium.
Just to be clear, I have zero correlation with the team, but I think that Super Premium would be amazing.
Context: Recently my son was born and my play time shrank massively. I just cannot have 4-6h a day online anymore (or to play that much).
That got me thinking, I can but a 75% booster for 499GE, but what I would really pay for it would be a X hours or days of more than the usual 100% booster that the premium account offers.
I thought I open up the conversation for you guys. What do you think about a 250% booster premium account that’s more expensive that the regular premium account by ~ 2.5x?
I’m sold on my own idea. But I want to see how others would think about this? Please let me know your opinion.
1st off congratulations!
I think the main problem with your idea is that Gaijin would quietly increase the grind over time, so after a year or so, you would gain about the same progress with the extra premium account as you do now and it would be even more painful for F2P and regular premium.
Personally I think the regular premium should cost a little more but also provide bonuses to the point generation for event tasks, possibly battle pass too but I dunno how you would work that.
I dont believe gaijin wouldnt use this as opportunity to screw over regular as well as premium users by adjusting the neccesary RP to offer the current rate of progression but for the super premium only.
Been there 8 years ago, felt how it affected my WT time, but also how this moved back upwards.
I generally like the idea of a “Super Premium”, less so because of the “boosters” (which eventually become less and less important once you reach higher, I find), but for other (crazy?) ideas:
more decal slots
exclusive decals/decorations/camos
possibility to chose tasks freely (instead of rolling for them, which often results in getting sam tasks over and over)
more slots for map likes/dislikes/bans (or removal of restrictive requirements to unlock)
more slots for crew/presets (or removal of restrictive requirements to unlock)
possibility to test all vehicles, and with all modifications
free or reduced access to full BP
What of course must be avoided are perks that affect gameplay.
There would of course be two results that would be 100% certain:
Claim of players of extreme greed of producer
Hate or at least ridicule of Super Premium Players by community
Good one plus the addition of skip a task like a battle pass task that I can’t do for example I can skip and get the points or I can buy the challenge it self for like half a milion SL for example
Life is too short to grind the entire WT tree, so have some time with family. We don’t need super premium; if Gaijin adds it, it’s going to be really expensive. With your stats you can easily slowly grind to top tier in 3 months or less, 2 hours a day with premium…
I think you misunderstood me, I’m against a separate higher tier of premium time, I’m just saying I would pay more for base premium if it had extra bonuses like boosted event and BP point progress, maybe a higher RP/crew EXP conversion etc.
I think that would be worth a few extra $$ a month.
Super premium should have access to every vehicles in the game for a limited amount of time, including the premium ones and marketplace one. Knowing them it will cost an arm and a leg lol
their premium time is already kinda costly as it is, compared to other games. i mean it costs kinda same, but for 20 days, not 30. and game economy balanced in the way you NEED premium vehicles to GRIND with premium time. you shouldnt be grinding hard, if you payed that much. it would be so much better, if no one suddenly would pay gaijin anything at all for couple of months, than adding extra premium.
i agree with the first comment: they will just slowly nerf the economy, as they already did, so you will be getting even less, while paying more and more.
It’s not too bad of an idea, but lets be real it is Gaijin here. They cant seem to implement anything well anymore. Every major update has multiple major bugs and a load more minor ones. And even good ideas they have, they implement it horribly. The loaner vehicle stuff they did to try combat one death leaving, decent idea but my god did gaijin implement it horrifically.
Unfortunately id just see it being similar to everything else theyve done at the moment, horrifically implemented into the game.
I think it would simply be easier to scale existing premium account status the higher you climb within vehicle ranks. There is an issue with the imbalcance of progression between Air and Ground. You earn so much more in Air Battles it seems than Ground Battles.
Here is what I would be willing to pay out the ass for…
NO CAS
No Up tiers - Play me at my level not some 1.5-3 tiers above me I cannot even damage
Let me choose if I need to wait 30 minutes for a match or not. At this point I load in, hit battle and if I get spammed with CAS, SPAAGs or up tiers I log the hell out. Do not have the patience to deal with Gaijen BS trying to force me into buying tiers or upgrades instead of enjoying the game. I dont care if I am beat nonstop by better players and even better tanks but I refuse to be a pawn so they can down tier for some simp to get an ego boost. I also 1000% believe the down tiering is tied to spending. If I dont spend a penny for weeks, every single match I go into I am up tiered and I mean grossly up tiered by average of 2 levels. I tested it 3x last year. Spent 16 bucks on GE and for the next couple weeks barely was up tiered and if so was literal to the next one, nothing further. After a few weeks it would go back to up tiering excessively and cycle would repeat. Its clear enough Vegas should have betting on it.
Trust me on this, I refuse to spend even a penny until they stop their crap. If they did then I would get every premium they drop. This how stupid they are…they are at war with their players and at the end of the day they are the ones that will lose as other game devs have sadly found out.
Congrats on the kiddo. Main thing to remember is that this game is not going anywhere. It will still be here when you do have time. When I was doing university, etc, I had to cut my hours way down. But eventually I got myself more time to play. Game kept humming along, regardless. Things will take longer to grind with the limited hours, but it’s not a race. You’ll get there when you can.
