Super Premium Account

Might as well charge 80 bucks for the game at that point (even thought that would make gaijin less money, yes actually). Playing without premium let alone super premium, would yield no progress whatsoever.

Nope. It’s just a fact. If you can’t handle uptiers the issue is you.

Thanks for sharing your opinion and I can see why you think that the grind would change, and agree with what you’re saying based on what Gaijin does.

What I believe would be great is that we make this game less grindy. Like really, the grind is not awesome at all and we need to change it.

On the other hand I understand when a company has employees, that need salaries, I can see why the Snail needs money.

I would like to play with F-15’s and F-16’s (not a fan of Hornets) and that takes quite some time to grind up.

No RP changes, the research stays as it is. Just faster progression with the “super” account.

Thanks man, congrats to you as well (I know I am 8 years late), hope all good with the kid :)

I feel like a Super premium could be framed as a " You don’t need it" angle, where anybody is shown that this is not for anybody, it’s a niche product for ppl that want to progress really fast. Like 1-2 weeks to top tier.

And for the regular user, the one that doesn’t want to sell his kidney? There should be the normal premium there (possibly lower price bc of the added income that comes from Super?)

While I understand your motive and situation, I don’t know why anyone would voluntarily offer to pay these guys (Gaijin) even MORE in Premium while they continue to ignore the communities requests to rectify many aspects of the game that have been broken for many years.

Thats what you want, sure.

But more likely than not, its not what would gaijin implement.

Instead of making additional levels of Pay2Skip the costs for vehicles should be massively reduced.

Ive grinded out now 5 TTs fully in ground, helis and air and i can tell you that the current system is flawed and just unsustainable as gaijin will keep adding more and more vehicles without increasing RP rewards across the board. Its why I recommend against playing war thunder to friends who are or were considering starting the game.
Its kinda like suggesting to people that they should start watching an anime that has already around 1000+ episodes. It doesnt matter if its good or not, its a massive time and effort commitment.

The fault lies in the fact that the RP rewards are just abysmal when every new update a new top end vehicle adds a new 200-400k bloat.
The way forward to make player experience better isnt in adding another paid, time limited service but instead fixing the fundamental issue with the research time and amount when it comes to vehicles.

I got 7k hours on this game, a lot of it without premium time or vehicles and i can tell you that premium in its current form feels what regular “non-premium” battle rewards should be. Playing this game without premium effectively nearly nullifies progress, getting rewarded 4-6k in ground on average for carrying a match single-handedly when you have to grind anywhere between 200k to 2 mil RP is simply insulting and is indicative the fact that war thunder and by proxy gaijin do not respect your time.
Partially a monetization model, partially oversight on account of having to pump out new vehicles on and on to force player retention.

The way to fix this is to either reduce the max RP by a large amount (and that is not “look guys we took off 20k RP from 420k vehicle, WT is saved”) or increase the rewards for ground, helicopters and air vehicle to be those of the premium time on free to play accounts and make premium time even more efficient as a following result.

To summarize it, instead of adding super premium or premium deluxe, gaijin really just need to fix their games progression system in the first place.
Right now, the monetization system is in essence predatory, nearly forcing you to pay money for any semblance of reasonable progress and adding another level to an already predatory monetary financial model would just make things worse.
Besides what would then stop gaijin to go full korean gacha mode and add “Premium+”, “Premium++” “Premium Deluxe”, “Premium Ultra Deluxe”, “Premium Supporter Edition”, etc. etc.

Exactly!!! Well said sir

dump your family and just focus on war thunder , congrats

Only if super premium ensures all your games are always full downtiers!

Hey dude, I’m in a very similar boat to you.
I’m about to have my first born (boy) and I also only have like a couple hours a week now to play. But I think going down the route of pay to progress even more than Gaijin already tries to make us do is the wrong idea.
The core issue is that the grind takes so long, so I think we should be pushing more to reduce the grind rather than introducing more measures to bypass it financially.
That’d benefit everyone, rather than just Gaijin

that exist yk, its called “fine dining”

But not a bad idea though, only issue is that gaijin would definitely try to capitalize on it significantly, but if added tomorrow it would be great
