Sukhoi Su-57 Felon - Technical details, Analysis and Discussion

Could work, but honestly I shouldn’t put the cart before the horse yes. We should already wait to see which weapons of the algerian Su-57E will be downgraded, and then see how their effectiveness could be reduced, since I believe that for example, the range of the R-37ME will very likely be cut to a strict maximum 300km range to comply with the international missile export restrictions

rvv-bd (export r37m) is already cut down to 200km range

That’s something I didn’t know to be honest, thanks!

Regarding this and another brochure which you sent before (which mentioned the 2600 Kmph speed), its likely the usually advertised top speed of mach 2 is probably due to RAM limitations like F22

i also confirmed this with a peculiar source of mine.

Getting ever so closer to British su-57.
Russia backs AMCA programme, offers to make Su-57 jets in India
Full article

Spoiler

From the article:

Russia reaffirmed its commitment to deepen defence cooperation with India, with its Ambassador Denis Alipov expressing his country’s readiness to support India’s Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme through the “local production” of the Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jet.

Speaking at an event on Thursday (October 16, 2025), Mr. Alipov said the move underscores the long-standing strategic partnership between the two nations, which has evolved far beyond a traditional buyer-seller relationship into one of joint development, co-production, and full technology sharing.

The announcement comes amid growing speculation about the future of the India-Russia oil trade, following U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that India would soon halt such purchases.

However, the Ambassador said that “Russian energy remains the most cost-effective option on the global market”. He said that “Russia has consistently honoured its commitments while showing flexibility in developing alternative logistics and payment systems in the face of attempts to disrupt this cooperation.”

On the defence ties with India, he said: “For over six decades, Russia has been a trusted defence partner and a key contributor to India’s military modernisation, with nearly 70% of India’s defence equipment of Russian origin, and a testament to its effectiveness has (been) demonstrated by Operation Sindoor. The partnership has produced several landmark achievements, most notably the joint production of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, which is now being upgraded to a hypersonic version.”

Mr. Alipov said that both sides are exploring collaborations in next-generation technologies, including anti-drone systems, advanced radar solutions, and precision strike capabilities.

“The cooperation between India and Russia is unique because it is rooted in battlefield experience that Russia willingly shares with its Indian partners. The same applies to our joint tri-lateral exercises like Indra that recently concluded in Rajasthan’s, and as well as our participation in multilateral naval exercises such as Milan and the SCO anti-terrorist drills peace mission,” he said.

I shouldve said this first, but i am gonna say it now anyways.

according to my source, the Triple adapter for Izdeliye-180 is developed both for Su-57 and Su-75 already, however, VKS didnt buy it apparently.

You may take it as a grain of salt, but my main point is we sadly cant expect a triple R-77M loadout for a while now, atleast probably till there is a followup order or Su-57M are delivered.

I’m not surprised, su-75 was advertised with triple arh missile in its bay so it would make sense for su-57 to also have it as well, although there’s probably costs of integrating it which is why they didn’t get it

We don’t want it, thanks.

Tempest with DRAGONFIRE will do fine.

No I mean India will get it then Britain will get it cause they’re a sub tree

looks like max engine thrust (not emergency power) for al 51 is 16500 kgf. this is su-75 brochure not su-57 but they should have similar engine

where did u get this pic from ?

Fighterbomber leaked it.

Does su57 use hmd?

Yes Russia devolved a hmd for it, I don’t think that we know how the symbology looks like, but we know how the helmet looks

HMD meaning it will display information like the EFT and Rafale? Or just HMS cueing device?

its a proper HMD not HMS.
